Hi all, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that you got all that you wished for. I am back with a new post and it is for Friday Sketchers challenge, but this time there is a part 2. Each of the DTs sample card is on their personal blogs and each is giving away blog candy. You have to go to Friday Sketcher to get the order of the Blog Hop. There is some really great blog candy being given away. At each stop on the Blog Hop you have to leave a comment to be eligble for the prizes.
Now on to my card. My card was made with the sketch from Friday Sketchers and it was made using the giggling Tilda. I had colored this image a few weeks ago but was unsure as to how I would use her. and now here she is. I colored her with my copics and as you can see blue is her color. On her hair I used E09, E25 and E31 and blended. Her is skin is E31 and E33. Her outfit and socks were done with B21, B24, B32 and BG72. the card base is some card stock that I found at Michaels this past week for 5/$1. It is called Bluebell Metallic and was made in Italy. The feel of the paper is what made me buy it. I got 5 different colors of this paper. The patterned paper is left over from my granddaughters scrapbook. the light blue card stock is from Bazzil 5x7 earthtones. The sentiment was typed on the computer and then I used distress ink to color it. Pop dots were use on both the image and the sentiment. The blue butterfly was found in my embellisment stash, I don't remember where they came from, but I got four to a pack for $.34. The ribbon was bought at Hobby Lobby and the little swirlly things on the ribbon is Spellbinders Shapeablilities (Symbology) and I ran it through the swiss dots folder on my Cuttlebug. The dew drops were given to me by a friend.
Please leave a comment, I love hearing from you.

Diva For A Day
Two more days of work, another day of shopping and then it will be Christmas. I am so excited. I have always loved Christmas and always wanted to know what I got before the day got here. Well I remember one Christmas in particular, I was about 9 or 10 years old and I wanted to see Santa, and I thought I heard him down stairs. Well imagine my surprise when I sat on the stairs watching what was going on and saw my mother and only brother setting up all the toys and my easy bake oven. I must have made a noise, because he looked up and saw me before I could get back to my room. They did not say any thing right then. But, when I woke up in the morning, there was no easy bake oven. My mother decided to make me suffer. I didn't get the oven right a way. She said that Santa had taken it back because I was out of bed. I must have cried for days. After that I tried not to spend so much time worrying about what I got. At least I got a lot sneakier and did not get caught.
Anyway on to my card. This card is a little different from what I normally do. there is no colored images. I put it together more like a scrapbook page. The picture of the dress is actually a sheet of stationary that I scanned and sized it like picture then cut it out. The sentiment I typed on the computer except for the "It's your day" which I cut out on my wonderful Cricut. The glitter paper is from Walmart. The shoes and handbag are from my large embellisment stock. This is going to be a birthday card for a friend on the inside I am going to take that same piece of stationary and size it to fit on the inside page and there I will write why I think she is such a good friend. Which won't be very hard. The photo of the ladies head is a piece of art that I have hanging on my office wall. I have it had it for years. and I always thought she was a very classy lady.
This card is for the challenge over at Tellen's Place, which has become one of my favorite sites to visit. They sale wonderful images and they give good freebies, also. But, I just love their challenges.
I hope you like my card. Please leave me a comment and let me know.

Pink, Ivory and Burgundy with Roses
I'm back with one more card before the weekend is over. And then its back to work for 3 days and off for 5 days for the Christmas break. The only sad thing about that is, I probably won't get any time to make any cards during the holiday since I will be out of the state.
Anyway my card is just what the title says with Tilda thrown in for good measure. The sketch is from Just Magnolia and the color theme is from Colour Create Challenge Blog. I haven't decided yet if it will be a birthday card or a valentine card for my granddaughter. So I didn't add any sentiment. The papers are from my supply of scrapbooking supplies and until I dug deep, I did not even know that I had any burgundy paper, the roses are from a goodie bag given to me by a really good friend. I have to tell you that the roses are really getting a work out. I'm going to have to replace some of them real soon. I embossed one of the cream colored papers with the Cuttlebug swiss dots folder and along the bottom edge of the pink paper I used a new folder set that I recently got that comes with 5 different designs. Don't you just love the Cuttlebug? The other cream paper is some that I don't even know where I got it from, but it was sectioned into 4 equal squares 2 were purple and 2 were cream with a faint design on it. I took a picture of the Copics that I used to color my Tilda. After coloring her I cut her out and popped her up with small pop dots. I really like the total effect. I almost forgot the ribbon since it was so sheer. It is a cream color ribbon that came in a variety pack that I bought at Hobby Lobby.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of her and if you think it should be a birthday or Valentine's day card.

Thinking of You
I'm back with another post and this is one for Friday Sketchers and I used a Tilda stamp, I have missed Tilda. This is the Angel Tilda leaning on a box and she really looks like she is doing some serious thinking. She was colored with Copics. The hair was done with E25, E31 andE09. Her skin is E31 and E33 and her top is B15, B17 and bV08. Her wings are coated with crystal stickles. Can you tell that I love the sparklies? I have gone through a bottle of this stickles in record time. I seem to find so many places to use it. The rhinestones are from the ever growing stash as are the flowers which are rose of different shades of purple layered over 2 flower petals of different varieties. Most of the paper came form the scrap folder. The card base is from the Cricut Earthtones pack. Cuttlebug swiss dots folder was used to emboss. The card is really simple even though there are several layers.
Please leave a comment, I love hearing from you.

Happy New Year
It seems as though I have been away for a really long time, even though it has only been a week since I posted my last card. Well I finally finished all of my Christmas cards and they are in the mail and some have even been received. Glad that is over. My card today is a New Year card. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is a freebie that was given after Mo reached 700 followers on Paper Craft Planet. Is'nt she the best. I love this image. The card is also for a challenge at Mo's. The theme is Just White. Everything on the card is white except the image. The image was colored with my Copics, on the baby's skin I used E21, the hat C3 and C5. On the banner I used Y08 and Y21. on the dog I used E25, E31 an E33. And I used crystal stickles on the year and to give the image a little pop. For all of the different textures I used my Cuttlebug and the circles for made with my Nesstibilities.
The card is also for Mojo Monday #117 challenge. I would really love to hear from you. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

You hold my heart
Wow! time sure does go by fast when you are having fun. It is already Sunday night and in a few hours it will be time to go back to work. So before my time runs out, I am posting one more card which will have to hold me until the next weekend. This card is a Valentine card. The image is a freebie from Tellen's Place so it is only fair that I use it for their challenge. The challenge was to have some paper piecing on the card. I cut out my image and popped it up with small pop dots. and then I cut several hearts of different styles and layered them. The image was colored with my Copics: for the hair I used E37, E09 and E25. For the skin I used E31 and E33. The dress and the heart I used RV19 and RV11.For the belt and boots I used W5 and W7. The sentiment was typed on the computer in a fushia color and matted. The sketch is from Friday Sketchers for challenge #82.
I do love to hear from you so please leave a comment. And have a great week.
