Lilac and Aqua

It is Sunday afternoon already and I have not finished no where near as much as I planned. But, I did finish this little card and I wanted to share it.  As the title states the colors are lilac and aqua. Tilda is my image and I think she is called the pink Tilda. But, I colored her in lilac. I used my Copics and I think this card has become one of my favorites to date. That will probably change with my next card. But for now, this is it.
The card has taken me off into challenge land. You know how I love a challenge.  I will list them all soon. The Copics used were;

Skin: E31, E21, E33
Hair: E09, E21, E25
Dress/leggings: V12, V04 (lots of layering withthe color) lilac Spica glitter pen
The card base is Bazzill, the DP is from the Paper Studio, The aqua roses are from Prima's new spring mix, the  lilac roses are from my stash. The leaves/branches are a Martha Stewart punch, which I recently got at Walmart after it was put on clearance. All of the bling is from my stash that keeps on growing. The ribbon was in a goodie bag that I recently received for my birthday.  The tag is from Spellbinders fancy tag collection. I just recently ordered the new ribbon tags from Joann fabrics. I can't wait until they get here. I sat Tilda on the ribbon, because I did not want her to be floating in the air. Tildas mat was cut with my Nesstibilities large deckled rectangles. and then I embossed it with the Cuttlebug argyle folder. That's it. Now on to the challenges.

It is Time for a Thank you

Good morning, I am back with another card . I am beginning to wonder if my followers don't like the cards I am making. I can tell that people are visiting my blog. But, not many of them are leaving comments. How depressing is that. I was hoping that they followed because they liked my stuff. Oh, well.

My card this morning is made for the Basic Grey Challenge, it is a color challenge this time and the colors are Marroon, lemon (yellow) and pink. I used the paper from their Lemonade pack that I got for my birthday. This paper is gorgeous. I can't wait to get some of their other items. The sketch is from Mojo Monday. I of course used the square one. I have not figured out yet how to make a round card.

The next challenge is from the Sophisticat Challenge Blog, now you know how easy that was for me (I love my Cuttlebug and own over half of their embossing folders, working on the next half. The reason that I bought the cuttlebug was for the embossing.) , so it just fell into my plans. Let's see, that makes three. The last and final one is, I Love Digi Challenge Blog, think Pink. Once again it just fell into my plans. I love a good challenge and here I have four that just go together so well.

Now on to my card. I colored the image with my Copics. and the image is from C.C. Designs (2009). She is the Swiss Miss Rosalie. She was given to me by one of my scrapbook group and I wasn't sure what I was going to do with her. I colored ups two images, one in oranges and the other in pink. And here my card is full of pinks, so once again it just came together.

Copics used were: along with glitter and gel pens
Skin: E31, E33 (I finally got some refills and I'm ready to go)
Hair: E09, E21, E25
Shoes: Sukura gel pen pink
ribbons: Spica glitter pen pink
Dress: RV02, RV11

I used the swiss dots embossing folder and the swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The ribbon was from my stash. And I tied the bow without any glue. I think I am getting better. I have never been able to tie a bow without having it wrapped around something. I used my brand new fancy tags from Spellbinders. I do love Spellbinders. The sentiment is from a clear set that I got at Michaels. The butterflies were laying around on my desk for weeks because, they had fell out of a box I was going through. But when I was finishing up this card, I looked at them and thought how they would even out the sides of the card. the card looked unbalanced and the butterflies gave it a litle balance. Well here is my card. It is getting late and I have got to get ready for work.

I don't know why but I could not get my pics to the center and I don't have time to play with it now. I hope you like my card. Please leave a little love in the comments.

Tellen's Place Anything Goes #7

If it is Wednesday it must mean that it is time for another challenge at Tellen's Place and this one is anything goes. You can make any project you choose,  anything goes...Cards, Scrap Pages, Altered Items...you name it, but you have to choose your favorite Tellen's Place image... I chose one of my favorite images from Tellen's Place and she is of course a DIVA with attitude. And you can find lots of Tellen's images at the Tellen's Design Store along with lots of other goodies. I have been a follower of Tellen's Place since the beginning hers and mine. And now that I am on the Design Team it has only gotten better. I love the images that her son Markus draws and her challenges each week are imaginative. Her following is growing and I would love it if you would go by and tell her that I sent you. On my side bar, you will find a list of my team members. Click on each of their names and visit their blogs. Leave them a comment and tell them that I sent you. The team is filled with a group of very talented ladies that would love to hear from you. We are called the Tellen's Place Divas.... I like that.

My card as I said earlier was made with one of my favorite images and it was actually the image that I won first place with in the first challenge of the year. I colored it with my Copics and the the papers are from a pack that I bought at Walmart. I bought it because I needed some grey paper for another card that I wanted to make. It also had the green paper included. The card base is made from Bazzill card stock. the flowers are from my stash and the pink flower was colored with my copics. It was white. I also used a pink copic to color in the flower shape of the paper. The charm is from Stamp and Create. The ribbon is from my stash.

The Copics used were:
Skin: E31, E33
Hair: E25, E09
Dress: C3 and Sukura metallic gel pen silver
on the hat I used C3 and G21
and the pink copic used was Rv02 and RV11. I did not have the pale cherry pink R11 that was called for in the Copic Color Challenge. And the sketch that I used is from Friday Sketchers. I hope that you enjoy this card. I really had a great time making it.

Thinking of You Again

I thought that I would try the Mo's Digital Pencil again. I layered when I shouldn't have.  The challenge was clean and simple. I hope I got it this time. I love this image so I really don't mind having more than one card made with it. I used the Rae with Jouranal image and once again the card is Thinking about you. I colored it with my copics

skin: E31, E00
Hair: E25, E09, E31
Shirt: G21
PantsL Y11, G21
Grass: G14, G28
flowers: V01, V15 and spical glitter pen Lilac
Butterfly: spica glitter pen
boots: W3, W5
Journal: E40, E41
Pen/jewelry: spica glitter pen Sand
I used a 4x5.5 white notecard for the base. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is from Michaels.

I love to hear from you. Please leave a little love in the comment box.

Black and White

I have a short post tonight, it is a card that I made for a challenge at Raise the Bar, the challenge was not to use any stamped image. The only stamp to be used was the sentiment. I made a friend card in black and white. The papers are from my scrap file. The card base is a 4x5.5 note card. The flowers are from my scrapbooking stash and the ribbons are from my stash also. The brads came in handy because they fit into another challenge at Cute Card Thursday, the callenge was to use anything metal, brads, charms or anything else. It just had to have metal in it. I think that my card fits both of these challenges. The stamped sentiment was bought at Tuesday Mornings for $1. I do love a bargain.

I really like the way that this card turned out. I would love to hear what you think.
