Hi all, if it is Wednesday, that must mean it is time for another challenge with the Tellen's Place Divas. This weeks challenge is a sketch:
I love sketches because it takes a lot of the guess work out of making a card. Join us in this weeks challenge at Tellen's Place. Terry and the other DIVAS; Lyn, Mia, Robin, Jane, Alicia, Pam, and myself. We love to craft and hope to inspire you. And if you would do me a favor and stop by the blogs of the other DT and let them know that they are doing a great job. We all work hard to visit the blogs of all of the challengers and leave comments. This is a time consuming process, but we do it because we know how much it means to the people who visit Tellen's Place and enters the challenges. We really do appreciate all of your support. You can reach each of their blogs from my side bar under Tellen's Place Design Team.
As usual Terry is offering a free image that can be used in this challenge. I think I made a boo boo and used the wrong image. I hope that Terry will forgive me. But, the image that I chose, I have been wanting to make a card with it every since the first time that I saw it. I have some good friends and made this to thank one of them for being such a good friend when I really needed it.
Don't forget to go by Tellen's Place Designs and take a look at the great images that Terry has to offer there. I love them and I think that you will too. Now on to my card.
My card is made with Bazzill cardstock for the base and Basic Grey is my DP. Are you seeing a trend. Every since I received my first pack of Basic Grey, I can't seem to get enough. The DP comes from the green at heart paper pad. I love this paper. The colors and feel of it is just so rich. The image is drawn by Terry's son, Markus who is a very talented artist. The ladies sitting at the table having tea/coffee are Mary and Bev. They are friends who love to get together to chat and shop. I used my copics to color the image and the little teapot on the table was given to me by my dear friend Pam. I cut out the image and popped it up with large pop dots. the ovals were cut with my Cricut. the ribbon is from my stash and the friend to friend stamp is from Michaels $1 bin. The bling is from my stash. I embossed the two purple ovals with my Cuttlebug argyle and swiss dots folders. Well I guess I should show you my card now.
I will be entering this card into a couple of challenges. The first is Paper Take Weekly Challenge the challenge is anything you want. When I started blogging almost 6 months ago, I had no idea that there were so many wonderful craft places to go. This is just one of them. Love this site. So I think this will work for them too. The next is The Pink Elephant the challenge is pastel colors. The next is Colour Create the challenge is your choice of pastels Easter or spring. I guess I got some of this covered. Last but not least is Crafty Creations Challenge anything goes. I love this site, it has only been a few weeks since I found them but they are great. One other challenge is at Creatalicious Challenges your favorite drink hot or cold. I hope that you like my card and would love to read your comments.

Tilda is Thinking Of You
Well time sure goes fast when you are having fun. It is now 10:36 pm and I really should be getting ready for bed. It will be 5 am before I know it. But, I could not go to sleep until I posted one more card. Boy, I really do have it bad. What am I going to do? Did you notice that my blog has changed colors again. It doesn't know what to do either. Can you believe that it has been almost 6 months since I started making cards and blogging? I can't believe it and I'm the one doing it. I am still trying to come up with a way to celebrate this occasion. I will let you know when I come up with something. How do you like the new color?
Well, I had better let you know a little about my new card before it gets any later. You know there had to be at least one challenge involved. The first is Just Magnolia it is a sketch:
The second challenge is from The Pixie Cottage the challenge is to use circles. I think my paper covers that. I am going to have to get some Pixie Cottage images. They are really cute I don't know why I never use any. The next challenge is Stamp Something the challenge is to Doodle something... I think that my papers with the circles could be considered doodles. I make circles and color them in when I doodle.
My card is made with Bazzill (I love this stuff) as the card base and Basic Grey is all of my DP it is from the Lime Rickey pack 12x12. The buttons are from Hobby Lobby. The flowers, bling and ribbons are from my stash. The sentiment is from one of the clear stamp sets from Inkadinkado. The image is Tilda and you know the best place for Magnolia stamps is Magnolia-licious Online Store. Diana has some of the best customer service in the states. My image was colored with copics. I can't believe that I did not write them down. Well here is my card.

My Little Fairy Princess
Hi everyone, I am back. I told you this morning that I was being creative, well that is partly true. I was also working on my office. I have been working around a lot of clutter and other hobbies, mainly genealogy. My computer desk was a mess and my scrapbook/card making work area was even worse. I have been working the last couple of days to make my space a crap free zone. I have moved alot of things cleared up my work space and moved a lot of things around. I cleaned out my walk in closet that I had been using for a storage closet and now it will be an extension of my work space. I bought a bookcase today that I will put in the closet to use for all of the stuff that will come off of my corner computer desk and I will be able to use the shelves on this desk to hold baskets of craft items. I feel liberated . The space is now open enough for two people to work in. But now I just have to put the bookcase together. Ok, enough about this.
You will have noticed that my blog is going through some changes. I think it is having a nervous breakdown. At the end of April it will be my 6 months anniversary. When I started this I did not think that I would make it 6 days. So I am trying to think of ways to celebrate. But, over the next week or so, the blog will probably take on some new personalities and colors. I will be trying them on for size.
I am back to post one of the cards that I have been working on. It is of course for a few challenges. It is the first time that I have used a fairy as my image. The image is a freebie from Cute Daisy May store. And the challenges is from the Cute Daisy May challenge blog, Linnie picked Fairies to be the challenge, so it is only right that I use one of her fairies. The next challenge is from Sophisticat Challenge Blog it is a color challenge "Mint green, lilac, and flowers plus any other color". The next challenge is from Raise the Bar April fools, to do something totally different that usual. Well, I don't usually use fairies on my cards and the card to me is really busy. I like more of a clean look. But I like this. The next challenge is from the Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge the challenge is a color one, pink, green and flowers. So the pink is the other color for the Sophisticat challenge and they just go together.
The image is colored with copics. E31, E33, E09, E15, RV02, V04, and BG13. The papers are from Basic Grey, cherish and urban prairie. The card base is Bazzill. The pink embosed paper is Paper Studio. The bling is from my stash. the embossed green papers are from Tuesday Morning and the flowers are from my stash. I cut the leaves with a Martha Stewart punch. the ribbon is from my stash. I used crystal stickles on the wings. I really think that she looks like she is ready to fly off to Neverland...
The sketch for this card is from Sketch Saturday. I won the challenge over there 2 weeks ago. See my side bar. I won a $25 shopping spree at Simon Says Stamp. My new stamps are on there way to me.

COOK BOOK PAGE
Hi all, I have a very short post this morning because I am busy creating but, I wanted to add a new cook book page for my sister's cook book. I am so behind and I guess it is good that she will be working on this project, also. The image that I used is from Digital Doodling this is not for any challenge, how weird is that. I always have a challenge. Well, not to worry, that is what I am working on. The paper for this is Bazzill, Basic Grey and something from my stash, I am not sure where it is from. I colored the image with my copics and the popped up cupcakes are Martha Stewart. The letters are from my scrapbooking stash. I hope she likes this.

TELLEN'S PLACE SPRING BLOG HOP
Are you ready to hop on down the bunny trail? Of course you are - that's why you're here - to get this "hop" started! So let's begin...
Tellen's Place Divas have been hard at work, designing projects for the new images that you will also see posted on the Tellen's Place Designs Store on Friday. These are special images for Easter and will be available for purchase until April 10th. You will find Edward and Ally all ready for this special day along with Jessica and a few other friends as they color their eggs and find them later.
My card this week is an easel card made with Bazzill card stock and the background paper with the houses and chicks on it I got at Michaels. The two stamps came from the $1 bin at Michaels and eggs were made with a punch that was in my stash . All of the bling was from my stash and of course I colored Sophie and the eggs with my copics. I used E13, E18, E11, E31, E33, E42, E40, V12, Y15. The Spica glitter pens used were Mint, baby blue, lilac and blossom peach.
Our blog hop starts today (3/24) and will end on (3/26). One winner will have a choice of five of the TP images used by the designers for this special blog hop. There will be more than five images to choose from. How cool is that? Oh... I almost forgot to tell you - we have another fun part of this blog hop - a scavenger hunt! That's right - on each designer's blog, there is a secret highlighted word and you'll only need to remember each designer's word from her blog and send an e-mail to Terry (terry@tellensplacedesigns.com) with the correct word for each person. You know what, the winner will get a prize (see Tellen's Place for a picture of this grand prize).
So, two things to remember: (1) a prize to the winner just for hopping and leaving a comment on each blog, including Tellen's Place and (2) compile a list of the correct words you find highlited on each designer's blog and e-mail that list to terry to win a fabulous prize.
Now if you arrived here from Mia's blog, then you are on the right track. If not, please start from the beginning at Tellen's Place - that way you won't miss any of the scavenger hunt words or a chance for that second prize! To help you, here's the owrder of the blog hop.

Spring is Sprung
Happy Monday everyone. I am goingto make this a quick post. It is 10 pm and I can barley keep my eyes opened. But, I did not want to miss out on the following challenges. And because I took Saturday off and did not do anything crafty. You might ask yourself why? The why is that when I am creating everything else falls by the wayside. I had not vaccumed or did very much of anything around the house. I had to get a reality check if only for a little while. But, here I am once again, and it is all about spring.
The challenges are Friday Sketchers (sketch); Pixie Dust Studios, The Power of 3; Paper Take Weekly Lilac and Lemon; Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog Spring is in the Air; and Secret Crafters Spring is Sprung.
My papers are Bazzill cardstock. the The image is a freebie that I got from Cute Daisy May some time ago. The flowers and bling are from my stash. The spring stamp and the flowers of the bottom of the easel came from the $1 bin at Michaels. I used two Martha Stewart punches and I colored with my Copics. I also made another easel card my second.
Here is the card.
