CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Happy Sunday, I am back with another card. So many people are talking about Christmas. What is the hurry. We are already over half way through the year. And it is way to early to be talking about Christmas. I am not ready. Things are going way to fast.  But, you have to go with the flow. There are a lot of challenges that have Christmas themes and you know how I love a challenge. So, of course I had to get in on the fun. My image is from Tellen's Place go on over and check Terry out. We are on hiatis for the summer, but will return in September with lots of changes.

You know that this card is going to be entered into several challenges. They are as follows.
Cute Card Thursday Get a head start
Pixie Dust Studios Forest Green, Cranberry, ivory
Fab N' Funky Christmas
The Pixie Cottage Three of something
Crafty Creations The Sketch

Well here is my card, I flipped the sketch a bit and added some extras.

We are checking the list for Santa, so you better be good.

A little about the card. The card stock is all Bazzill. The image was colored with Copics. the ribbon and bling is from my stash. The DP is My minds Eye, Home. I used stickles on the fur of the outfit. and punched the snowflakes with a $1 punch from my stash. And although you can't see it, I used my spica glitter pen on the snowflake. I hope you like this card.

CELEBRATE

I am back with another card. This one I made for the DT call at Wags N' Whiskers. The sketch is theirs and the image is from Bugaboo Stamps Jodie Mackrell is the artist and so many of her characters have lots of attitude. I colored this with my Copics YR18, YR14, YR65, E09, E13, E25, E51. The flower is from Prima, the bling and ribbon is from my stash. The striped DP is Basic Grey. The card stock is all Bazzill.

I am entering this card into a couple of challenges.  Whoopsi Daisy the  challenge is vibrant colors. This is a monthly challenge. Linnie is a wonderful artist. The next is Stamp Something is a recipe challenge. 1 paper, 1 ribbon and 1 image. I think that I got that.

Well I hope that you like my card.

TIME FOR A CHALLENGE OR TWO

Happy Sunday my friends. I am truly back. Today I have a card for the first challenges of my return. Now you all know how I love a challenge. And being away for so long was hard. There were days that I was not even interested in making any cards because I could not enter them into a challenge. But all of that is over.

For this card I have used a Mo's Digital  image. This is of the baby in wading pool. I think it is sooo cute. It will also be used for Mo's challenge, summer. And you know that I can't stop with just one challenge.

Alphabet Challenge K is for kids
Cute Card Thursday Schools out for Summer
Pixie Cottage Challenge Aperture (window)
Secret Crafter Aperture (window)

Now on to the card. You know that it is a Mo's image. I colored it with my copics. E21, E00, E13, G07, G21, B0000, B34, B24, B02, b21, B32, Y38, Y35, Y02, W3, W5. The dotted DP is My Minds Eye (home). The paper used mat the image and card base are from Bazzill. I used my Cuttlebug and Nestibilities to cut the window and the stamp is from Michaels dollar bin. The stitches were made with the Pizie craft machine from Singer. I bought it at Big Lots for $30. I had read about it. and there were a lot of people who did not like it. They said it did not have a light, it does. They said that the pedal did not work properly and I don't have a problem with this one. I think that maybe they did not read the directions all the way through. I like it because unlike my big Singer. It sits on my desk and does not take up a lot of space. If I need to move it. It fits on a bottom shelf no problem.

Well, I hope you like my card. And if you do please feel free to leave me lots of love.

Another card made while I was away

Good morning,  I just wanted to stop by and post another one of my cards that I made while waiting for my new computer. This is a Birthday card for the 8 year old daughter of a co-worker. I was told that she was a girly girl who loved purple and pink. Well you know that purple is my favorite color so that is what I went with. I also made a box (and I'm working out the directions for it) to go with it. I used my favorite Tilda. Actually I used 2 Tildas, one is in the inside. I colored them with my copics and no I did not write any of this down. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss. Nestibilities for cutting shapes and labels. The bling is from my stash. The aqua/blue card stock is Bazzill. The DP is from Hobby Lobby. The flowers are from my stash, the smaller roses are Prima. The leaves were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

Don't forget that you can buy your Magnolia stamps at Magnolia-licious Online Store. I don't know what has happened to the link on my side bar, I am working on it. Since my return to blogging, I find that several of the links that worked before don't now.

I hope that you like this project.

The little girl that received this card loved it. She thought it was more like another birthday gift. I hope that you like it. Please feel free to show lots of love by leaving comments.

I AM BACK ONLINE

Hi all, it is so good to be back. While I was gone I did a little work... sorry that I did not track the copics that I used. Mostly I made birthday cards and I got a little creative on one project which I will come back later and post. This card was made for a member of my Yahoo Birthday card. I used one of the Tilda's.
Here is the first card.

My favorite place to shop for Magnolia stamps is the Magnolia-licious Online Store. Since I have been without a computer I have not had much chance for shopping. But, now Diana can expect me to come and pay her a visit. I love that store.

I have been gone for so long. Please leave a little love and let me know what you think. I'm so glad to be back.

I am looking forward to my first challenge. So there is a lot of work to do and I can't wait to get started. So stay tuned. There may be some surprises in store.
Love you all
