WITCH TILDA IS Sooooo SCARY

Good morning all, I am rushing a bit to get this posted. I have had it finished since Sunday but, I just could not find the time to sit here. This is my first Halloween piece and it is a stair step card, my first. The haunted house is paper pieced from a pattern that I found at Scrapbook, etc last year. The bats and cats and spiders were bought at michaels for $.99 a package. the pumpkins are from a stamp by Stampalicious. The words are from my stash of scrapbook stickers. The ghost and pumkins are a digi image that I got as a freebie from Copic Buzz when I first started blogging. The fence on the second tier is a Magnolia stamp (I think) and then there is Tilda. She was a gift from a friend. But, you know where my favorite place to by Magnolia stamps is the Magnolia-licious Online store where Diana Crick is the owner and she has the best customer service. Go by and see her. Tilda was colored with copics and as you can see, I really had fun with the purples. The dress the hat were colored with V12, V15, V17, V09 AND RV00. The skin was done with E00, E11, E13. The broom was done with E53 and chocolate spica glitter pen. The ghost and pumpkin were colored last year and I really don't remember which colors I used.  The fence was colored with E25, W5 and W7. The grass was done with G24 and G28. The pumpkins on the front step were colored with Y17, Y38, YR15, YR09, E15, G21, G07. The bling is from my stash . Since my promise has been to use up my scraps, all of the paper came from the scrap file, even the card base. I make a lot of 6x6 cards and always have have of a 12x12 paper left over. That size is a scrap file all by itself. Well, since you know me so well, you know that there are a few challenges that this will be entered into. I got the instructions from Split Coast Stampers.

So what do you think. I would love to hear from you. My challenges are as follows.
Totally Tilda Challenge Glitter and Sparkle
Crafty Ho's Inspiration Picture

I think some of my inspiration came from this photo. I just love this image. The purple tones going throughout it.
Tuesday Taggers Autumn (I think a lot of my colors are autumn, Halloween is surely autumn, pumpkins are autumn, so I think I should qualify) The sponsor over at Tuesday Taggers is The Craft Barn go on over and check them out. I plan to soon.
Ok, I think that is all for now. See you again soon....

FALLING FOR YOU

"THIS CARD WAS A WINNER AT INKTEGRITY DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE" CHALLENGE #15

Everyone is talking about it being fall and the leaves and grass changning colors. That is one of  the few things that I miss about living in Illinois. The changing of the seasons. Here in Alabama everything is still green and it is still over 90 degrees. But, I try not to complain to much, because if this winter is like last winter I am in no hurry for it to get here. I wish we could have temperatures between 65 and 78 all the time. that would be so perfect. Some rain every now and again for the farmers and the grass and trees. Oh well, nothing is perfect.

So I guess I will get on to my card. From the title you will guess that this is a fall card. Which is true. I have animals and birds. And I think that this one turned out really good.  Let me say that I have been using papers from my scrap file and that this card was made completely from scrap papers. The little girl image is a freebie that I got sometime last year and I think that it is a Cute Daisy May image (now Whoopsi Daisy ) if I am wrong I hope someone will let me know. The little bird is Magnolia, you know my favorite place for Magnolias is the Magnolia-licioous Online Store, Diana is the owner and the customer service is awesome.
The tree, the rake  and are Jolie stickers, bought for little of nothing on clearance. I got one for each season. This one is called autumn. The squirrl is a $1 stamp that I have had a while. . The images were colored with my copics. E00, E11, E13, E24, E32 G21, G24, YR14, YR15, YR18, Y17, W1, W3. As I said earlier, the papers are all from my scrap file. The bling is from my stash and the sentiment was typed on the computer. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the brown paper with the swirl embossing folder. The faux stitching on the base circle was done with a copic.  The circles were cut with the Spellbinders Nestibilities circles.

The sketch is from Inktegrity Design Team Challenges:

And, yes I have challenges that I will be entering this card into.

Terry we have to blame it on my (Mind) here lately I feel like I am losing it.  The challenge this week at Tellen's Place is BLING, BLING, BLING.   Well you know how much I like the bling so this was right up my alley. The image used is a  DIVA from Terry's son Markus. I think that he is a wonderful artist. And if you keep watching the happenings at Tellen's Place, you will be seeing a lot of new releases. The images are amazing. But, to get a look at them you have to visit the Tellen's Place Blog and store. Now for my card:

I colored the image with my copics BV20, BV23, BV25, E00, E11, E13 and the spica lilac glitter pen. The sentiment is from the $1 bin at Michaels. It was a recent purchase. Birthday Wishes

Hi all, I am back with a very short post. This card was made for someone in my birthday club. I need to get September cards in the mail. So, I thought I would post it first. The image is a Pure Innocence image. She was colored with my copics and of course I can't find my notes where I wrote which ones I used. The papers are all from my scrap file. I am trying my best not to cut paper when there is something that can be used in the scrap file. So far, it works pretty well. But, there is just so much of it. I think when I turn off the lights the papers begin to multiply.

The triple mat was cut with a Nestibilites on the Cuttlebug. The sentiment stamps are from a clear set of stamps, I think Inkadinkado. I am entering this one into only 3 challenges.
Inktegrity Design Team Challenges They have been on vacation since before my last computer died. I am glad to see that they are back. Their challenges start on Wednesday. And are called Hump Day Inspiration, this is #14.  The challenge is Anything goes
Secret Crafters  Anything Goes

Well, that is it for now. Leave lots of love....

DANCE LIKE NOBODY'S WATCHING

Good morning my blogger friends. Finally, I have something to post. This has been a really busy weekend for me. First on Saturday morning, I walked a 5K race for the Humane Society. A friend from work asked me to do it with her. It took me 55 minutes to finish. My worst time ever for 3.1 miles. But, I had not done any training for it. That's ok. I was out there and I finished. I have definitly got to get in shape. Otherwise, I will never get my second marathon done. and though I did not get anything for finishing the race. I did win a door prize. A $50 gift card to the local atheletic shoe store. Since I do need new shoes that was just perfect. After the race. I modeled in a fashion show at CJ Banks womens store. That was fun. But, I tell you. by the time I got finsihed with that. I was whipped. I felt like some body had run me over with a mack truck. Plus, it was over 90 degrees outside. All I wanted was a nap. OK, enough about me. On to my card.

This card was made using a Tellen's Place  image. The ballerina. She is colored with my copics V04, V12, RV11, R02, E31, E33, the lilac spica glitter pen. The paper is Bazzill, the card base is Cricut paper, the sheet music is from the Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. The flowers were punched with my new Paper Studio daisy punch, which Hobby Lobby has clearanced out. I bought  the small and medium. Now I need to get the large and extra large ones. The bling is all from my stash. The butterfly punch, I am not quite sure where that one came from. The sentiment is from a stamp that I bought from the Hobby lobby clearance isle months ago. Can you tell that I spend a lot of time at Hobby Lobby. The ribbon is from my stash.

There are a couple of challenges that I am entering this card into.
Crafty Creations Music or Dance
Cute Card Thursday Tweet or Flutter (bird or butterfly)
Ellephantastic Challenge Make your own flowers
Copic Creations Shading on or around images
Stamp Something Use a Digi
ABC Challenge D is for Distressing

Well, I guess that is all for this card. I hope you like it.

FALL IS HERE (AUTUMN)

Good morning, here it is Tuesday and I am here with another card to share. I have to keep this short, I need to be ready to leave about 7 am for work. My card today is mostly about the fall, the colors make me think of the leaves changing colors. October and November in Chicago. That is one of  the things that I miss about home. But, I do not miss the cold hard winters that come next. Ok, moving on. My sketch is from Priscilla Styles Midnight Madness:
I always like to pick the ones that are more fancy. You know how I like the bling and embellishments.

My balloon is colored with Copics C1, C3, YG95, YG97, YR14, YR04, Y17. The balloon and sentiment were a set that I bought at Michaels from the $1 bin. I love hot air balloons. And I am planning to take a ride on one sometime in the near future. Especially if I can get someone else to pay that $280 fee. I have checked into it. The bling is from my stash as is the ribbon and flowers. The flowers are another one of those things that I talked about yesterday. Where you buy stuff, put it in a drawer or storage box and forget that you have it. I was going through my stuff, just like I said I would and found 4 or 5 different sets of flowers that I had not used since I bought them. Now I am looking for a place ato store them where they can be seen. I used my Cuttlebug to cut the shapes with my Nesstibilities Label 3 and the sparkly brad in the center is from Michaels. One more thing, all of the papers for this card are from my scrap file. It has got to be used.  Now, you know there are some challenges involved, so here they are.
Allsorts Challenges Colors of Autumn
Raise the Bar Brown, Green and Orange
Creative Inspiration Autumn Colors (DT call)

Well, this is it for now. I hope that you like my card and as usual please leave a little love. I can't wait to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by.
