MY LITTLE PRINCESS

Happy Sunday everyone, do you know the only thing wrong with Sunday? The only thing wrong with Sunday is that it is to close to Monday and that means it is almost time to go back to work to earn some money to make some more scrapbook pages and cards. I love my job and will be glad to get back there (smile). I have been very busy this weekend. This is my 3rd card to post and I have been working on orders of note cards for friends.  I also have a couple of orders for birthday cards. One is for a seven year old and one is for a 59 year old. I love this craft.

My card today is a Tilda, I have missed her and had to get something done. The sketch used is from Midnight Madness I am running a little late.

Here she is my little Princess:

Isn't she gorgeous. The store to buy Magnolia's is Magnolia-licious Online Store, Diana is wonderful and has the bes customer service. A little about my card. It was colored with copics all from the R family. I can not find my notes. Sorry about that. The Spellbinders Nestibilities is one of the latest, I won in a challenge at Colour Create which was sponsored by Michelle's Scraps I love both of these sites. The flowers are from my stash and some were won from another site. Do you see a trend here? I have won several challenges and other prizes in the last two months. I love this craft. The card base is Bazzill, the lace was given to me in a goodie bag by my friend Pam when I first started blogging. So that has been over a year almost.  I don't think that I have ever used the lace with the pink. The embossed papers are handmade from The Paper Studio. The sentiment is from Hobby Lobby's clearance isle. The grouped pearls are Prima, but the individual pears are Martha Stewart and were bought when Michaels was having a clearance on all of her stuff,  and I colored them to go with the card. I punched the leaves with the Martha Stewart leaf punch. The DP is also from The Paper Studio. I colored over parts of the clothes with my pink spica glitter pen. Well that is it for this card. And yes, there are challenges.

Well, I guess this is it for this card. I will see you soon, but now it is time to make some money.

GLORIOUS TREES OF FALL

Hi all, I am back from my walk and errands and here with another post. This one is fall. I am so glad that I am through making Halloween projects. This one is inspired by a photo from Crafty Hos' Challenge Blog

Now, here is my card.

I love this corrugated cardboard. I bought it so long ago. It was in a pack of paper scraps and it came in all of these wonderful colors.  I stamped the image, which is a Penny Black image that I recently bought at Hobby Lobby for 50% off, which I used dew drop ink (cosmic copper). I used the new Spellbinders nestibilities, Peony that I bought at Hobby Lobby for $8.99. How good is that. I used the fancy tag for my sentiment which was stamped from a clear set from my stash. The ribbon is from that fabulouse package that I won from Midnight Madness, isn't it gorgeous. The bling and papers are all from my stash.

WHAT'S BREWING

Do you ever have one of those mornings where you just have to have just one more cup of coffee? Well, I do. This is one of them. I have been having a very slow start this morning. I am supposed to be meeting my friend at the park so we can walk. Well, I just went out to my car to get my shoes and guess what. it is kind of cold. It makes me want to just get back in the bed and pull the covers up over my head. Oh well, I am up now and I might as well post this card. You guessed it. It is my cup of latte (coffee).

It is very simple and clean. I used one of my new embossing folders from Tim Holtz. The stamp was bought at Hobby Lobby in the clearance isle and I typed the sentiment on my computer. Colored both with copics E51, E50, E54, E31, E33. The chocolate paper is from The Paper Studio (one of my favorite browns). Yes, there are a couple of challenges.

DARK AND CREEPY AT TELLEN'S PLACE

It is Friday and the last day of work for the week. And that also means that it is time for another challenge at Tellen's Place, this time it is DARK AND CREEPY, the image used is a new one from Tellen's Place Designs drawn by Terry's son, Markus. He has really gotten into this dark and creepy stage. You know we have a couple of team members who are really the queens of dark and creepy. Jane and Lyn. You should go by and check out their blogs. But, don't forget about the other DIVAs, they don't do to bad in the dark and creepy either. Although we do better with the girly girl stuff. You can get to their blogs from my side bar or by visiting the Tellen's Place blog. I know that they would love for you to stop by. Ok, now I am going to show you my card.

A little about this piece, it is not a card and I don't have a clue what I would use it for. But, it was fun to make. Frankie, is the image from Tellen's Place. The hunted house is an image that I won a few weeks ago from Midnight Madness. It is from Sunshine and Giggles store. And it is called Mockingbird Lane. It was colored with my copics BV20, BV23, BV25, G07, G28, V15, V17, W1, W3, W5, W7, Y02, Y04 and Y32. Frankie was colored with E33, E51, E53, E57, E09, G20, G21, G82, W5 and spica glitter pen black. The ghost, bats cat and moon are from my stash. I drew the headstones and I used copics to make the darkness of night. I really like  the way that it came out and I hope that you like it. This is my last halloween project. I did not intend to make so many, it just happened.

Yes, there are challenges.

WINTER WONDERLAND

Time for something a little different. I have been making a lot of Halloween projects. This is not like me. But, there have been so many challenges for Halloween and Fall colors that I just could not resist. But, I am glad that it is starting to come to an end. This card is different. It is a winter scene. I am not ready for the cold, but on paper it is not bad. I did nto do any coloring for this image. The winter covered tree is from Jolie, it is one of those things that I caught on clearance and figuered I would probably find a use for it. I did lots of embossing, using the snowflake folder and the swirls folder from Cuttlebug. The swirl and snowflakes on the side are from recollections and the bling is from my stash. All of the papers are from my stash. The sketch is from Midnight Madness:
I do love the sketches from them. This is the fancy one. There are always 2 different sketches, one fancy with lots of embellishments and one plain and simple. But, you know how I love the bling and extras.

It looks like a winter wonderland. I tried to add a snowman to this scene, but it just did not work. There are a couple of challenges that I am entering this card into.

2 Sisters Challenge Anything Goes
One Stitch at a Time Anything Goes

Delightful Challenges It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (I think snow is a good sign for Christmas)

Ok, this is it for this card. I need to start on my Christmas cards and this is only number 2. I think that I am going to keep it really simple this year.

5 WITCHES (DOING THE ELECTRIC SLIDE)

Happy Saturday, isn't it great when you get some time to play and relax. This has been a really long week, I was late every night getting home from work and other activities. I am tired. But, today I get to color and play with paper. Although there are other household chores that need to be done. I will try to get some of it done before time to go back to work. But, first I play.

On Thursday I received that wonderful prize that I won from Midnight Madness. The spider web ribbon on this project was a part of that prize. I had seen the picture of what was in the prize. but, when I opened it up it was like Christmas. There was paper and sooo much ribbon. I am planning my next project already. The great thing about this prize was that It was all stuff that I did not own. None of my ribbons are that exquisite. The colors are gorgeous. Can't wait for you to see the results.

Now, on to my project. This is not a card. It is going to be used on a scrapbook page. I am going to the haunted house this weekend and this is going to be my header on my page. I have had the image for over a year and it has been colored on my desk for weeks. I used my prismacolor pencils to color it, because it was just easier to get the small details of the socks. I call this "5 Witches doing the Electric Slide". The sentiment stamp was bought at Archiver's on my trip to Chicago a couple of months ago. The bats and spiders are from Recollections at Michaels and the pumpkin who knows. This will be my last Halloween project for the year. So enjoy. The card stock is all Bazzill. The bling is from my stash. On the sentiment, I used copics  to color around it and to make it look like it went with the feet.

I think that the witches are having a wild party and the neighbors will start to complain at any moment. And yes there are challenges involved.

I love to hear from you. Comments are welcome.
