EASTER/SPRINGTIME

My card this week is an easel card made with Bazzill card stock and the background paper with the houses and chicks on it I got at Michaels. The two stamps came from the $1 bin at Michaels and eggs were made with a punch that was in my stash . All of the bling was from my stash and of course I colored Sophie and the eggs with my copics. I used E13, E18, E11, E31, E33, E42, E40, V12, Y15. The Spica glitter pens used were Mint, baby blue, lilac and blossom peach. It reminds me of spring. Love the papers and  of course they are one of my favorite colors.

SPRING TIME/EASTER

Good morning, I am here with a short post. I had a chance to play with Tilda and decided it was time for a little more springtime. This is the first time that I have used so many stamps and images on one project. I wanted to make a scene look like a park. The tree is a Penny Black stamp (splendor 3977H), the tulips are Magnolia as is Tilda. My favorite place to shop for Magnolia Stamps is Magnolia-licious Online Store, the owner Diana Crick is wonderful and so is the service.

The bench is from Sugar Plums. The eggs are a stamp from Craftsmart, bought in the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby. I used the Martha Stewart punch floral vine and Spellbinders curved rectangles. The card stock is bazzill. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is a digital freebie, I forget where it is from. The bling is from my stash.

All images were colored with copics:

Tilda- E00, E11, E13, E09, E25, G21, G24, G12, Y13, Y15 and spica lemon and mint glitter pens
Tulips- Y13, Y15, Y17, Y19, Y21 and spica lemon/buttermilk glitter pen
Chick - Y13, Y15, Y35
Eggs - RV06, RV19,RV21 and spica pink glitter pen.
The bench - E25, E27, E29

Well, that is it for this card. I will be entering it into the following challenges. I hope that you have enjoyed your visit. I will return soon.

ANYTHING GOES AT BROWN SUGAR #34

Wow, what a week this has been. Work is super busy and this was the week for annual evaluations not many surprises since I knew I completed all of my goals and projects for the year. It just gets stressful sometimes. But, I am glad that it is over and that it is Friday. I really need some time to create.

THERE IS A DESIGN TEAM CALL AT BROWN SUGAR going on right now. It will end March 25th. If your would like to be a part of a great team go on over and check it out.

This week the challenge at BROWN SUGAR CHALLENGE is "Anything Goes" and we all know how easy that is. Our sponsor for the week is BUGABOO STAMPS. I love the images that Jody comes up with and they are fun to work with.

This is get your craft on and I am going to use it on a scrapbook page from one of our crops. I will also be doing some shopping this week over at Bugaboo. I saw some new images that I just have to have. The image was colored with copics B000, BG45, BG53, E11, E13, E15, YR04, Y21. The sentiment came with the image. The papers are from a very old pad of My Minds Eye (Stella Rose collection) Hattie Papers is the name. I have almost used the whole pad. But, it has been one of my favorites. The flowers are from my stash, the circle and inverted scallop were cut with Spellbinders dies as was the image and the mat beneath it. I don't have the packaging anymore and my list is not available to say which label this is.. Well, that is it for this post. I hope that you will join us for this weeks challenge at BROWN SUGAR, and don't forget to stop the the rest of the team members for a visit. I know that they will appreciate your comments.

WHAT'S ON YOUR WORKDESK WEDNESDAY #198

Where did the time go? The week has just speeded by and I don't believe I have done half the things that I had planned to do this week. And here it is time for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday and I don't have anything finished to show you. Things are just not moving has fast as I would like. First, I am still working on the Vegas scrapbook, Another page almost finished, just have to add some more journalling.  But, there are still photos from 4 more days in the desert. The grand canyon and the valley of fire. Two awesome sites with lots of photos. But, this is one that is ready.

The Paris hotel ( I would love to go to Paris one day) and the Planet Hollywood hotel. I can't find the photo of the Venice Hotel, they actually have a gondola.

Painting some boxes (one a 4x4 box that I plan to use for a calendar) and a Balsa box that I am going to give in a RAK. and that container in from of the 2 bottles of paint which I am going to make into a pin cushion. I have covered it with 2 coats of gesso and hot glued some  glass rocks in the bottom to keep it steady. I hope to finish off at least 2 of these this coming weekend. I still have a lot of work to do on the calendar. I don't like the way that paint covered it is streaky on the outside and needs another coat of paint. Well, that is it for me right now and it you want to know why I am showing you whats on my desk, go on over to the Stamping Ground and ask the wonderful Julia. She is the lady who started the worlds largest blog hop.

Well, I am off to visit some creative blogs. Hope you will join us.

SPACE ADVENTURE AT TUESDAY THROWDOWN #139

Before I get to the challenge, I would like to say a fond farewell to Vicki P who has had to leave our wonderful team for personal reasons. Vicki we will miss you. Good luck.

Now, are you ready for some fun? Today at Tuesday Throwdow it is time for some space adventure. Our sponsor is MYGRAFICO they have some really fun images and you should stop by and check them out.. I am using the rocket ship and space girl. So, hop on your space ships and join in the fun.

I did not do much coloring for the images. I used copics to color the air and bows E09, E23, V12 and I used a silver Krylon leafing pen to color the ship. The larger circle spellbinders die to cut the moon and the inverted scalloped circle for the sun. I typed the fly me to the moon sentiment on the computer. The DP is from an old my minds eye stack. That is it, so come on and join in the fun. The team would appreciate it and so would I.

WHAT'S ON YOUR WORKDESK WEDNESDAY #197

Well, it is not quite Wednesday yet, but I want to get this ready as early as possible. It is almost time for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, with the fab Julia Dunnit our wonderful hostess. If you still don't know what I am talking about it is time to sit down at your computers and take a trip around the world to see what others in your field are working on. Me, I have been scrapbooking since the weekend. I am so far behind that it is not even funny. I went to Las Vegas in August 2011 and I have still not finished with my photos from there and the Grand Canyon. But, I am getting closer. I finished about 9 pages since Saturday.  They are mostly 2 page spreads. I at least feel like I accomplished something.

These are some of the photos from our shopping expedition at the huge outlet mall in Vegas. The shoe store we were in was just amazing. But, so was every other store that we entered. And the prices were really good. So much shopping and so little time. I just need to do the journally on these 2 and it will be pretty much done.

My desk is a mess at the moment but in the background you can see some stickpins that I recently made. Well, that is it for me. Stop on by the Stamping Ground and check it out. I will tell you that it is addictive and so much fun.
