FRIENDS

Hey, it is Tuesday night and I have a new card to post. The image is from C.C. Designs and she is called Rosalie. I really think these images are too cute and she has a little kitten along with her. This card is for someone I call friend. I haven't made her a card before and thought is was time. The card has a little bit of everything, the metal frame around my sentiment which I bought in the clearance section some place months ago, the pearls in the center of my flowers. The flowers are made using  two different sizes of my daisy punches. all of the papers are from my scrap file. There are 3 different DP's. Two are in the sketch and the third is in the flowers. I embossed the pink Bazzill card stock with the leafy branches from Cuttlebug. The image is colored with copics E00, E11, E13, E15, E25, YG03, YG05 YG06 and spica glitter pen melon.

The sketch that I used is from Cute Card Thursday. There are several other challenges:

Stamp Something Spring Something
Totally Gorjuss Spring is Sprung
Top Tip Tuesday Nature inspired
2 Sisters Challenge Make your own Embellishments (flowers)
Anything Goes Challenge Make your own Embellishments (flowers)
Pattie's Creations Designs Flowers/Flowers and pearls
Tuesday Throwdown Florals

Well, that is it for now. I must say for this to be such a simple card it fits in at so many places.

Birthday Wishes

Wow, I have really been busy this weekend. I am back with another post and some news about my blog candy. There are just a few more days left until it ends, so if you want a chance to win now is the time to leave a comment and become a follower. You can do this by clicking on the picture of the candy and it will take you to the post to leave your comment. I also would like to add a little something to the list.

1 stacked container to hold your brads or buttons
1 pack of Jolee's 3 piece butterflies
1 Martha Stewart all purpose gel adhesive

I may think of something else later.

Now, about that card. I used a C.C. Designs image, Miss Rosalee.  The sketch is from Papertake Weekly

The next challenge is from Colour Create, burnt orange, black, cream and optional extra checks. Well I got that. And last but not least, Stamp Something charmed something. I have a flower charm with bling. My card is a birthday card. The image is one that I had colored several weeks ago and just could not decide how to use it. And then this color theme came up and it was perfect. I colored it with my copics and you can guess that I used several of the orange ones and then I used a sukura metallic gel pen for the shoes. The hair is E09, E27 and E21. I dyed the flowers with E53. The bling is from my stash and the charm was bought at Hobby Lobby clearance bin. I used my Cuttlebug and a new folder called diamond plate. The paper with squares is from DCWV safari chic matstack. I got it for half price last week. It has some wonderful designs in it. I punched the leaves with a Martha Stewart punch. Well, here is my card. I have got to finish this and get ready for work. I need to make some money so that I can save some of it, because I have been spending to much on paper.

I just realized that this is not a very good picture. But, I guess you can get the idea. Hope you like it.

It is Time for a Thank you

Good morning, I am back with another card . I am beginning to wonder if my followers don't like the cards I am making. I can tell that people are visiting my blog. But, not many of them are leaving comments. How depressing is that. I was hoping that they followed because they liked my stuff. Oh, well.

My card this morning is made for the Basic Grey Challenge, it is a color challenge this time and the colors are Marroon, lemon (yellow) and pink. I used the paper from their Lemonade pack that I got for my birthday. This paper is gorgeous. I can't wait to get some of their other items. The sketch is from Mojo Monday. I of course used the square one. I have not figured out yet how to make a round card.

The next challenge is from the Sophisticat Challenge Blog, now you know how easy that was for me (I love my Cuttlebug and own over half of their embossing folders, working on the next half. The reason that I bought the cuttlebug was for the embossing.) , so it just fell into my plans. Let's see, that makes three. The last and final one is, I Love Digi Challenge Blog, think Pink. Once again it just fell into my plans. I love a good challenge and here I have four that just go together so well.

Now on to my card. I colored the image with my Copics. and the image is from C.C. Designs (2009). She is the Swiss Miss Rosalie. She was given to me by one of my scrapbook group and I wasn't sure what I was going to do with her. I colored ups two images, one in oranges and the other in pink. And here my card is full of pinks, so once again it just came together.

Copics used were: along with glitter and gel pens
Skin: E31, E33 (I finally got some refills and I'm ready to go)
Hair: E09, E21, E25
Shoes: Sukura gel pen pink
ribbons: Spica glitter pen pink
Dress: RV02, RV11

I used the swiss dots embossing folder and the swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The ribbon was from my stash. And I tied the bow without any glue. I think I am getting better. I have never been able to tie a bow without having it wrapped around something. I used my brand new fancy tags from Spellbinders. I do love Spellbinders. The sentiment is from a clear set that I got at Michaels. The butterflies were laying around on my desk for weeks because, they had fell out of a box I was going through. But when I was finishing up this card, I looked at them and thought how they would even out the sides of the card. the card looked unbalanced and the butterflies gave it a litle balance. Well here is my card. It is getting late and I have got to get ready for work.

I don't know why but I could not get my pics to the center and I don't have time to play with it now. I hope you like my card. Please leave a little love in the comments.
