Good morning, it is Friday and I am truly ready for the weekend. But, before we get to that it is time for another challenge at Brown Sugar, the challenge this week is to make a GET Well  project. Our sponsor is Delicious Doodles.

The image that I have used is Daisies and Butterflies. I colored it with  copics Y08, Y13, Y15, Y19, YG61, YG63, V12. I used the lemon spica glitter pen to add some sparklle to the flowers and the lavender one to add some sparkle to the butterfly. I use a spellbinders inverted scalloped square die for the mat. and the sentiment is from Michaels $1 bin. The bling is from my stash. the punch is from EK success. The paper is Recollections. Well, that is it for my card and we would love for you to join us for the challenge.

EASTER/SPRINGTIME

My card this week is an easel card made with Bazzill card stock and the background paper with the houses and chicks on it I got at Michaels. The two stamps came from the $1 bin at Michaels and eggs were made with a punch that was in my stash . All of the bling was from my stash and of course I colored Sophie and the eggs with my copics. I used E13, E18, E11, E31, E33, E42, E40, V12, Y15. The Spica glitter pens used were Mint, baby blue, lilac and blossom peach. It reminds me of spring. Love the papers and  of course they are one of my favorite colors.

SPRING TIME/EASTER

Good morning, I am here with a short post. I had a chance to play with Tilda and decided it was time for a little more springtime. This is the first time that I have used so many stamps and images on one project. I wanted to make a scene look like a park. The tree is a Penny Black stamp (splendor 3977H), the tulips are Magnolia as is Tilda. My favorite place to shop for Magnolia Stamps is Magnolia-licious Online Store, the owner Diana Crick is wonderful and so is the service.

The bench is from Sugar Plums. The eggs are a stamp from Craftsmart, bought in the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby. I used the Martha Stewart punch floral vine and Spellbinders curved rectangles. The card stock is bazzill. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is a digital freebie, I forget where it is from. The bling is from my stash.

All images were colored with copics:

Tilda- E00, E11, E13, E09, E25, G21, G24, G12, Y13, Y15 and spica lemon and mint glitter pens
Tulips- Y13, Y15, Y17, Y19, Y21 and spica lemon/buttermilk glitter pen
Chick - Y13, Y15, Y35
Eggs - RV06, RV19,RV21 and spica pink glitter pen.
The bench - E25, E27, E29

Well, that is it for this card. I will be entering it into the following challenges. I hope that you have enjoyed your visit. I will return soon.

BROWN SUGAR EASTER CHALLENGE # 32

TGIF, aren't you glad that it is Friday, I am. It has been a busy week for me and I have only had a very little time for creating. And since it is Friday you know I had to create something for the Brown Sugar Challenge. this week it is Easter. During this time bunnies are a big part of the theme (although I have never been sure why). But, I have chosen a cute little bunny to make my project from.

I haven't done a lot in pinks lately so I used that as my main color. The image was colored with copics R20, R21, RV11, RV06, RV21 and I used atyou spica glitter pen Pink. The happy Easter is part of the image. The buttons and twine is from my stash as is the bling and ribbon. The DP paper is Colorbox. I inked the edges of the image with distress ink victorian velvet. I liked the faux stitching on the rabbit and just highlighted it with the glitter pen. The card stock is bazzill. Although you really can't see that.

Now that you have seen my creation, go on over to Brown Sugar and join in the fun. The rest of the team is  listed on my sidebar and they would love it if you stopped by for a visit. Have fun and we hope to see you soon.

LACE AND DOILIES AT TUESDAY THROWDOWN # 137

Hey, it is Tuesday and time for another fab challenge at Tuesday Throwdown. This week the challenge is "Lace and Doilies" and to be honest I had never used a doily on my cards before. So, I picked some up when I saw that this was one of the challenges. The sponsor for this Challenge is Robyn's Fetish. She has some wonderful images and I always have so much fun using them.

The image that I have used is tea for two. I really like how this came out. The teapot was colored with Copics E81, E50, E51 and the peach spica atyou glitter pen. The lace and bling is from my stash. I used a spellbinders die to cut the  shape behind the teapot. I sprayed the doily with glimmer mist. All of the papers are from my scrap file. The stamp is from Michaels $1 bin from a couple of years ago.

They were a fairly new challenge blog. But, everyone there is so nice and friendly. So, come on over and join us. You will be glad that you did. My image is called "Butterfly Kisses" and was colored using copics.E11, E13, E23, E53, the purple star jelly roll glitter pen and the atyou spica glitter pen pink. I also used the Momento marker, lilac posies. The DP paper is K and Company, the card stock is DCWV and it is from a new mat stack that I recently bought and I used a kraft card base from Recollections. The bling was part of my Christmas gift from my sister. She always knows just what to get me. I used the scallop edge corner chomper from We R Memory Keepers for the corners. The sentiment stamp is from a set Hero arts. It is one of those sets that has a sentiment for almost everything. That is it for this card. Please join us at Brown Sugar Challenges.

NEW BEGINNINGS

Since this is a New Year, I thought that my first crafty post of the year should be about new beginnings. So here is a card I made for a new baby. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and it is a card that I made for my daughter to give to a friend of hers. I really love the simplicity of this card and the new mother was thrilled.

.The image was colored with my copics E11, E13, E09, E15, V04, V12. I used the spica lilac glitter pen and the Cuttlebug baby embossing folder. The card stock is bazzil. That is it. So, I am going to keep this post short because I have some crafting to get back to. There is no work today and it is raining. I have all day to do whatever I want. HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone.

BIRTHDAY WISHES

My daughters birthday was in February and she has had her card for that long. I just never got it posted here. While looking though my project photos, I found that I had enough projects finsihed that I could post somethng twice a week for the next 2 months and still have stuff left over. So this post will be my daughters birthday card. I used a Bugaboo Digital Stamp. Jody has some wonderful images and I was lucky enough just recently to win 7 new ones. I am so looking forward to get them colored.

My daughter loves purple and gray and bling. So I added a few feathers and here it is. She really love this and so did I. It was colored with copics E11, E13, E15, E09, C05, C03, C07, V04, V06, V09. A little spica grey glitter pen on the cuffs and scarf. I embossed the gray bazzill card stock with one of the art deco embossing folders from cuttlebug. Well, that is it for my card. I might just have a few challenges.

2 SISTERS SKETCH CHALLENGE #95

Good morning all, it is time for another 2 Sisters Challenge. This week it is a sketch challenge. So stop on by and join us for another fun challenge. The design team would love for you to stop by their blogs and check them out. You can get there from my sidebar.

Since we are so close to father's day, I thought that I would make a card for my son who is always talking about trying the game of golf. He is a father of 2 and I thought that he might get a kick out this one. I don't usually get to make a lot of male cards. I have only the one son. But, there are 4 granddaughters and a daughter and lots of sisters. So you know why I love to play with bling. Making this card was really fun and I would like to thank our sponsor for the great images that we received to play with.

This is the sketch.
The image that I have used is Tag Focus. It was colored with copics E11, E13, E15, E50, E51, G21, G24, C1, and YR14. I also use the grey spica glitter pen on the golf club and yellow spica on the golf ball. The papers are from my scrap file and the DP are from K and Company and the gold is from Walmart. All of the papers in that pad are shiny without the glitter. I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the scalloped edge on the middle band and a Recollection 1" circle punch for the gold circle. The card stock is Bazzill.

THE PIXIE COTTAGE CHALLENGE #111 THINGS WITH WINGS/SKETCH

Hello friends, guess who was asked to be a guest designer at The Pixie Cottage Challenge blog for the month of March. Yes, you got it. I was, I am so excited. Michelle is a wonderful person and I love both her store and the challenge blog. I enter as many challenges as I can work into my busy schedule. Michelle's Scrapbooking and More has a wonderful line of stamps and digis' and lots of other things, you should really check them out. Here is a funny story, at the last DT call, I applied to be a junior designer on the team and the email address that I used was one that I don't check everyday. Well, several days after the DT call was over, I checked the emails and I had one from Michelle offering me a place on her team. But, I was to late, she had already announced the new team. Well, I felt sorry for myself for a while and then I sent her an email thanking her for the thought and apoligizing for not getting back to her sooner. Well, she sent me an email back and asked me if I would like to do a guest designer spot and I jumped at the chance. So here I am and I am ready to get started.

This weeks challenge is things with wings and you know there is a sketch. You can do either one or the other or like I did and do both.

The image that I have used is a SouthEnd girl by Andrea T. Sellers and you can buy her at Michelles Scrapbook and More the Pixie Cottage Store. She is #9002 in the store. I colored the image with my copics E11, E13, E09, E15 , YR00, YR02, YR01 and the orange spica glitter pen. the botton layer of paper is actually vellum that I bought about a year ago and never used it is from Making Memories a part of the slice line. it comes in 8x8 sheets and 8 wonderful colors. I really liked the feel of it. The DP is basic grey and I used one of my new spellbinders die cuts to cut the shapes. The bling is from my stash and the butterflies were cut with a $1 punch that I picked up somewhere. The sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels. My card came out kind of monochromatic although that is not what I had planned. Well, that is it for my card. And now you should join us for this weeks challenge at the Pixie Cottage. Hope to see you there.

The DP is from a pad that I bought at Big Lot's and it no longer has the name on it. But, I really like the piece with the dots and glitter on it. The stripes are ok too. The ticket sentiments are from a sheet that I was given in a goodie bag.

This is our sketch for the week. So, please stop by 2 Sisters and join us for this weeks challenge. It is lots of fun and there is a prize. and if you have the time, please stop by the blogs of our wonderful team members,, you can reach them from my side bar.   I am sure that they would love to hear from you.

2 SISTERS USE METAL CHALLENGE #74

Good morning! This is my second week as a design team member at 2 Sisters Challenge blog and I am having a wonderful time. The images are fabulous and the team is a great bunch of ladies to work with. This week the challenge is Metal. So you have to have some metal somewhere on your project. You can enter our challenge as many times as you like, but each entry must be a new project. No back linking. And don't forget the rest of my team is listed on my side bar and they would love for you to stop by for a visit.
We are being sponsored this week by......

Please stop by the store and check out their wonderful digi images. We were given images to make our projects this week and they are really wonderful.

I don't normally make cards with animals or birds, but I really love this image and will be using it a lot in the future. It was colored with copics B12,B02, B00, B000, E00, E13, E23, E53, G0000, G00, RV00, RV02, RV04 and spica glitter pens, pink, melon and baby blue. the DP is from My Minds Eye and it is lime twist Happy go Lucky a 6x6 pad that I have have since last year some time and never used even a sheet of it. The funny thing is that the day I bought this paper, I bought 4 other pads at the same time just because I loved the colors. Never used any of it. Well, that is about to change. I thought that since my image was of birds that bird paper would be a perfect background. The cardstock is bazzill, the bling is from my stash and the sentiment was sent to me by a friend. love those tickets. The metal that I have used is a square paper clip that I found on my desk top and it holds the ticket in place perfectly. The zig zag piece of felt ribbon is from a prize package that I won last year from Pricilla Styles Midnight Madness.  So that is it for my card. So please join us for a fun filled week at 2 Sisters Challenge blog.

SIDE STEP BIRTHDAY CARD

I made Top 3 at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog -  Color Challenge

I made Top 3 at Stamptacular Sunday - Borders and Frames Challenge

Good morning, I impress myself sometimes. I have spent most of the weekend crafting and trying some new things. The first thing was this side step card which I made for my DT duties over at Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack, I am moderator of the Card Making Group and each week we make a different style card. This week it is the Side step card. I have made the step card before on numerous ocassions. But, never this one. I love the way it came out. I have a friend who is having a birthday on Tuesday and this was a way to combine 2 things together.

I got to use lots of stamps and bling on this one.
Ms. Scarlett is from Bugaboo Stamps
The birthday cake is from the Paper Studio
birthday sentiment is from Michael's $1 bin
The presents are from Stamps Happen, Inc (Tara Reed designs)
The bling is from my stash.
Every thing is colored with Copics
YR02, YR04 Y38, YR68, E11, E13, E15, V06, V12, BV11, G21, sakura glitter pen, Spica orange and black glitter pen
Card stock is from the Paper Studio (I do miss my Hobby Lobby)
While shopping at Michael's I came across these wonderful little bags in the party section. They come in all sizes and colors and I can't wait to same up some crafting money to be able to buy lots of them. They have this really small size that was perfect for a tag. So since there was not much room for signing this card, I added a small bag that I cut in have to make a pocket and then I slipped in this cute little tag that I have been playing around with. She is going to love it. Well, that is it for now and it is time for my challenges. Have a good week and I will be back soon with some more new craft ideas.

DEMETRIUS' CHOPPER

Good evening everyone, it seems so long since I posted any thing even though it has been a little over a week. It just never seems like there is enough time in the day for everything that needs to be done. I have been creating up a storm over the last few weeks since I returned from vacation. I have been working of Christmas cards and numerous other projects. One of them is this birthday card that I made for my sister to give to her husband. Beleive me when I tell you that after seeing this image at  Kenny K's Krafty Girlz I had to have it for my brother-in-law. It reminded me so much of him. He is a lover of motor cycles and he is bald  and he is also a wild man. That seems to cover Chico here.

My sister received the card in the mail yesterday and she loved it. The image was colored with copics E11, E13, E15, E02, E04, E41, C1, C3, C5, BV11, BV12, W3, W5, W7, R00, SPICA SILVER GLITTER PEN, glossy accents on the chrome of the bike.  I embossed the black paper with the Tim Holtz  Retro circles embossing folder. You can not really see it in this photo but, it is there. I used several of the Tim Holtz sprockets. I have fallen in love with the Tim HOltz products and whenever I get a chance to do some shopping I pick up a couple of items. On the inside I embossed with the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Cuttlebug, and the sentiment is . The DP papers are from last years Recollections halloween pack. I needed a purple that was not to girly.  Well, that is it for this card and I hope that you have enjoyed your visit. There are a few challenges to follow.

SMELL THE ROSES

Good morning, I am here with a card that is not for any special reason or occasion. It was made as part of my DT duties at Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack, this weeks card is the stair step card, the directions can be found at Splitcoast Stampers. It is probably one of the easiest cards to make and can be decorated anyway you like. Over at the Scrap Shack I am a moderator in the Card Making Group and this last month has been great. I have made 3 cards  that I had never done before and revisted this one. I have made several stair step cards in the past. I really enjoy trying new designs and it definitely takes you out of your comfort zone.

I don't know why I never use these colors together very much, I think this is probably only the second time that I have. The combo of the two are really pretty together. I used 3 Martha Stewart punches, the roses are all from my stash. The card stock is Bazzill and a lot of the pieces were scraps. (I am working very hard to make my scrap pile smaller. The butterflies were punched with a Marvy punch and colored with spica glitter pens, pink and melon. Both stamps are from the dollar bin at Michaels and colored with copics RV06, RV04, RV11, RV21, RV34, G12, G21.

Well, that is it for now except for the challenges. I hope that you have enjoyed your visit and will return soon. There is much more creating to be done.
