LATE GRADUATION POST

Good morning, I have been spending my time trying to get some crafting done and some scrapbooking. I am so far behind and my photos are piling up fast.  I am going to be participating in a couple of craft fairs in November and I'm working on that also. It is hard to know what to make and how much. But, I will do my best to get ready for these challenges.

Today I have a card to share with you and it was a graduation card that I made for my granddaughter. The paper is some that I found in my stash and I am not sure where it came from. But, I really think that it is a Paper Studio Sheet. The image is from Tellen's Place Designs. Terry is not open any longer but, I still love all of her images. this was colored with my copics:  E11, E09, E13, C3, C5, C1, C7. The card base is one of the Recollections corrugated cards. The embellishments are from The Paper Studio and I have had them in my stash for years.
Well, this is all about this card. I will be back soon with a new project.

EASTER/SPRINGTIME

My card this week is an easel card made with Bazzill card stock and the background paper with the houses and chicks on it I got at Michaels. The two stamps came from the $1 bin at Michaels and eggs were made with a punch that was in my stash . All of the bling was from my stash and of course I colored Sophie and the eggs with my copics. I used E13, E18, E11, E31, E33, E42, E40, V12, Y15. The Spica glitter pens used were Mint, baby blue, lilac and blossom peach. It reminds me of spring. Love the papers and  of course they are one of my favorite colors.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

The image is cupid from Tellen's Place Designs. The wonderful artist is Terry's son, Markus. Tellen's Place is no longer up and running, but the images are still fantastic.

The gold paper is recycled  Christmas wrap, it is some wrapping paper that I confiscated at our department Christmas party. It is heavier than most wrapping papers and when I saw it I thought, "hey, I can use that on my cards". So as people were unwrapping their dirty santa gifts, I was grabbing up the paper before they could ball it up and throw it away. So I ended up with lots of it. I embossed the paper with the Cuttlebug hearts embossing folder. The bling was bought last year in the Hobby Lobby clearance sale. The sentiment is something that I wrote on my computer. I used the Dahlia Nestabilities as the background for the cupid. And it was Bazzill paper that I cut with it. They have been in the clearance isle for a couple of months and I was just waiting them out before I bought anymore. The image was colored with copics E11, E13, E15, E53, R24, R27, R29, Y28, spica red glitter pen and gold glitter pen.

HALLOWEEN FUN

Good morning, life around here is very hectic at the moment. I am already dressed and ready to head out in about 40 minutes. I have to go an visit a friend who is here for a funeral. It is a sad time but, it will be really good to see my friend for it has been almost 2 years since the last time. I am still working on my projects for the craft show on November 3rd. My it is right around the corner. And our beach trip is coming up next week and I am no where near ready for either. I will be working double time once I get back home. And I still have all of the house work and grocery shopping to get done. I really need a personal assistant to work some magic.

But, today I have a new card and it is a Halloween card. I was going through my digital images recently and came across this one. It was drawn by a wonderful artist (Markus) who was responsible for all of the Tellen's Place Design images. When I was on the Tellen's Place design team, Markus drew likeness of all of the DT. this was the second one.

I call her WITCHY ME and I think that she came out great. I colored her using my copics and my favorite colors at that Purple. Over everything but her skin, I used my lilac glitter pen to give her some sparkle. My card base is Bazzill, the lighter purple is Bazzill it is the shiny one. I used my Martha Stewart punch. the DP is from my stash. the ticket sentiments come from different companies and right now I don't have them in front of me.
And you know it has to have a challenge.

But, I will post after life calms down.

HEY FRIEND

What a week I have had. Busy at every turn and still not quite ready for the craft show. Time is running down and still there are things that I want to do. So, I will be working through this weekend and next and after that it is what it is. But, right now I have a new card to post and then I must get back to work. My daughter recently called me and said that she needed several cards and would I make them for her. Of course I said yes and one of them was for a friend who is moving out of state.
I decided to use a Tellen's Place image. And though they have closed their doors, I will use the images for ever. The artist is very talented and the images are fantastic.

And since my daughter loves purple, there is lots of purple, even though some of it looks blue in the photo. It is all in different shades of purple.  The image was colored with my copics BV00, BV02, BV000, E11, E13, E15, E09. The flowers were punched with a flower punch from The Paper Studio. I used two different sizes. The sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels and it is stamped on a die cut using Spellbinders and the mat behind the image is from the same set. The card stock is bazzill and the DP was found in my scrap file, I think it came from a mat stack by DCWV. The bling is from my stash. Well that is it for this card. So much to do. But, I do have a few challenges to go with it.

TRICK OR TREAT

Hi everyone, time for a little paper play time and I can't believe that I actually slept until 7 am. I never sleep that late. And I have so much to do. Need to work on more cards for the craft show. And a couple of little projects to finish for my scrapbook groups trip to the BEACH which is coming up really soon. Just a three more weeks to go and we will be having 4 lovely days at the beach. SOOO much fun to be had. Good food, shopping and more shopping and a little scrapbooking thrown in for good measure. I am so excited.

But, for now it is time for a little Halloween fun. The project today is going to be a part of a Halloween layout for one of my granddaughters scrapbook pages. I thought card at first, but I am going to add a couple of photos along with som new halloween paper that I got on clearance at Michaels.

It is not a scarey project just very cute, the image is from Tellen's Place designs which sadly is no longer up and running. I do love their images and I miss Terry very much. Hi Terry, if you are out there.  Her name is Alley she is out for a night of trick or treating. During her travels she runs into spiders and Dracula and pumpkins and bats, But, she heads home with lots of goddies and a smile on her face. Isn't she a cutie. I popped her up with large pop dots. I made her a little goodie back to hold all of her treats. She is colored with copics E00, E11, E13, E53, YG63, H17, YR15, YG03, YG91, YG95. The base is Bazzill, dracula and the spiders were cut from a sheet of DP. I think it is some that my daughter sent me. So I don't know the brand. the trick or tream and boo to you are and spiders are all die cuts from my stash The moon and the bat are also just leftovers from my stash. Well, that is it for my project.

I am still trying to find time to get my anniversary candy together and posted. It may have to wait until November after the craft show. Right now there just is not much time. But, don't forget that I still have the Tim HOltz candy waiting to be given away. You can click here to join in with that one.

The digital paper is from  Crafty Chaos Designs, it is owned by Susan and she has some wonderful digtal papers. This is from one of 4 sets that I have recently bought. You should go on over and check her out. You make find something that you can't live without. I did. The frankenstein image is from Tellen's Place Designs and most of you already know how much I love her images. Well, nothing has changed there. Franky was colored with copics G21, G24, G20, E19, E11, YR02, YR68 and a couple of others that I can't remember right now. The sentiment was typed on the computer and the Happy Halloween stamp is from The Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. The big skeleton is from Recollection. A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CARD

Wow, I am back with another post. 2 in one day. This one is a card I made for a friend to give to a lady at her church. She had seen another one of my cards and kept asking my friend about them. It seems she really loved the one she saw and she wanted one for herself. So my friend is giving her this one for her birthday in a couple of weeks. The image is one from Tellen's Place Designs and just because I no longer design for Tellens, I still love the images and you will be seeing even more of them in the coming weeks. I love the DIVA images they are easy to work with and the women that I know love getting the cards I have made with them. There is a little diva in everyone of us.

I think that this card turned out even better than I could have imagined. The DP papers are from Making Memories and it is from their black and white pad 8x8. Which is one of the last few things that I bought at Tuesday Mornings before the tornado. The image as I said before is from Tellen's and it was colored with copics E09, E11, E13, E15, RV02, RV04, RV06, I used spica glitter pen pink of the scarf and shoes. The flowers are from 2 different sets by Prima and I love that they had swiss dots to match my papers. I put stickles on the flowers after layering 3 deep to give them shine and sparkle. The clear bling is from my stash. I used 2 stamps from a clear set on the front of the card and on the inside is two different stamps used. The sentiment stamp on the right is from Stampendous and the celebrating you stamp is from Michaels dollar bin. The black and pink cardstock is from Bazzill. I used Spellbinders Nestabilities labels 10. and ran it through my Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder. I also used one of the art deco embossing folders from Cuttlebug and the swiss dots folder. As you can tell, I love embossing. Well, that is it for this card and yes I do have a few challenges.

SPARKLE AND LACE!

This card was a winner at "Craft your Passion".. Anything Goes Challenge #52

Well, another Friday is upon us and that means it is time for another Tellen's Place challenge, the challenge this week is Sparkle and Lace. So get out your glitter, bling or anything that sparkles and your lace and then stop by for a visit with us. The DIVAS have been really busy and have come up with some fabulous designs. You can visit the other DIVAS by clicking on their names on my sidebar or by clicking on their pictures on the Tellen's blog. They would love for you to come by for a visit. The challenge is open to everyone, you do not have to use a Tellen's image, but if you do you get extra points. There is only one entry per person. We will all come to your blog and leave a comment. Entering more than once will not give you any more chances to win. We will only leave one comment. Now on to my card.

My card ended up being monochromatic, it wasn't intentional, it just happened. The papers are Basic Grey from the Cappella pad. and the bazzill card stock is from the scrap pile. I thought that they were just perfect together. The spellbinders dies are the fancy tag and label 10. I love the scalloped ends on this one. I wrote done the copics used and now can't find my list. The lace is from the from a wonderful package that I won last year and the bling is from my stash. I am sending this card to my daughter for Mother's Day. The DIVA is from the Tellen's collection.

EMBALMING/EMBOSSING CHALLENGE

Hey all, another Friday is upon us and I am sure ready for it. It has been a very busy long week. I have been late getting home every night and I really need some rest. Has anyone seen my MOJO. I seem to have lost it or it ran away from home. Maybe it thought that I was using it to much and decided to get away for awhile. But, if you see it, please tell it to come on back home. I really need it and miss it. Oh well, the reason that I am here. It is Friday so that means that it is time for another challenge over at Tellen's Place. Let me tell you you are going to love this challenge. It is soo out of the ordinary for this time of year. Yes, in my title it is says embalming. The idea is to use your scary halloween images. Well, I am a girly girl and I really don't do scary, so I went with the make believe. I love fairies and and I used one of Tellen's newer images. The embalming came about for this April fools day because our senior Designer Lyn decided to play a joke of the team. I was the one that did not even notice the change. She changed embossing to embalming in our weekly schedule and it stuck. So please join us this week for another fun challenge at Tellen's. The DIVAS have been really busy getting ready and they have some wonderful projects to share with you. You can see these at the Tellen's challenge blog or you can visit each DIVA at there own blogs which can be reached from my side bar. When you link your project to the linky tool at Tellen's the DIVAS will each visit your blog and leave a lovely comment. But, please remember that there is only one entry per person. Leaving more than one entry will not increase your chances of winning, but if you use a Tellen's image you will get more points in the voting. So joining us and I will be by for a visit.  Now, here is my card.

I really love purple, as you can see from this photo. The purple corrogated card board is from a scrap pack that I bought when I started scrapbooking years ago. I never found any use for it until I started making cards. Now I can't get enough of if. I used this instead of regular card stock for the texture of it. I embossed the Bazzill lilac shiny paper with the Cuttlebug embossing folder, and i forget what this one is called and I did not write it on the storage envelope either. I will find out. The background for my fairy is the Cuttlebug leafy branch folder. the stamps are from a clear set from Recollections at Michaels. It is a fairy set. The stretchy shiny cord is from a 3 pack set that I bought at Tuesday Mornings for $1.99. There were about 10 different cords in the 3 packs. What a deal right. I colored my image with copics E09, E11, E13, E15, spica purple glitter pen. and I also used a metallic marker that I won from a store in the U.K. it is Marvy Metallics. But, I don't think the paper that I used was thick enough to use these markers. But, I do love the colors. Yes, there are a few challenges.

Pixie Dust Studios Fluttering Wings
Cooking it up with Katie Sparkle, shine, Glimmer

There are more, but it is getting late and I have to go for a little while, I will be back later to finish this post.

FEEL IT - TOUCH IT (IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TEXTURE)

Happy Saturday, I love Saturdays, And once again I am a little late with this post for Tellen's Place. I won't go into the internet problems. Let's just say that I am getting really disgusted with them. Let's just focus on the challenge at Tellen's Place, this week it is TEXTURE and the DIVAS have out done themselves this time.  Texture is anything that is not just flat. We normally think of different fabrics, but it could be the embossing that we all love, different papers have texture... Please go on over to Tellen's and join us in this wonderful challenge. Stop by the blogs of my wonderful team, they can be reached from my  sidebar or from the Tellen's Blog. Plus Terry is giving away another wonderful freebie away. So there are lots of reasons to stop by. If you decide to enter the challenge. Please remember that after linking to Tellen's all of the DIVAS will stop by and leave comments on your wonderful blogs. There is only one entry per person and they will leave only one comment. Entering any more than one project will not get you any more chances to win.

As part of the texture on my card, I have a ribbon, have used embossing (one of the Cuttlebug folders from the ART DECO set). and if you notice my bronze paper behind Alley has a texture to it and I used a Spellbinders die cut (Dahlia) which was bought for a steal out of the Hobby Lobby clearance isle. ($5.99). Alley loves to dance and doesn't it look like she has jumped in the air to do her turn. Alley was colored with copics E09, E18, E11, E13, E53, E51, E71, spica gold glitter pen and chocolate glitter pen. The sentiment is just one part of a stamp that I bought at Hobby Lobby. The sheet music is from the Paper Studio. The musical stamp is also colored with copics, but I only used 2 colors for it E51 and E53. Plus the chocolate spica glitter pen. The words around it are: "The magic of music warms the heart and soothes the soul." The cardstock used is all from the scrap folder. I don't think I will ever use it all. It just keeps getting bigger. Well, that is it for my card today and yes there just might be a few challenges.

The Shabby Tea Room Bingo (I chose Punch/Die Cut-Embossing-Ribbon)
The Pixie Cottage Sketch/ or sparkle (I have sparkle)

Well, that is it for today, I will return soon with a new project.

I would love for you to stop by my Photo Blog "View Life through a Lens" and let me know what you think of some of the photos that I took in my photography class.

IT'S SPORTS TIME!

Another Friday has come and it is time for the weekend. This is my favorite time of the week. It means that I get to play with some of my favorite things. Papers, stamps markers and all kinds of cool and wonderful products. How many of you have ordered the new Copic colors. Well, I got mine last week and they are totally gorgeous. They fill in some spots where there were holes in your collection. I got mine at Ellen Huston. I am so glad to be on her mailing list. She sent an email to let people know that they were in and I got mine before they ran out. So I plan to get some coloring done and some scrapbooking finished. Another thing that I plan to do since the weather is supposed to be almost perfect, is to get out and get some photographs taken. There are so many places here in town that are perfect for that. I need to get in lots of practices. I have added some new photos to VIEW LIFE THROUGH A LENS,  I would love it if you stopped by and checked out my progress. One more thing that I plan to do is get in some walking outside. I am training for a 5K for next month and really need to up my walking time for longer distances. A 5k is 3.1 miles and this year I think that the route is changing. So, I really need to work on my endurance.

Well, enough about me. It is time to get to the Tellen's Place challenge. The DIVAS have been really busy with this challenge and have come up with some wonderful sports related items. Thats right, this weeks challenge is all about sports. When I first heard this, I thought what in the world am I going to do. And then I started seeing the projects of the other DIVAS and thought, maybe I should just sit this one out. What they came up with is just fabulous. So please stop by Tellen's Place and join us in the challenge and take a minue to  stop by the personal blogs of all of the DIVAS and check them out. You can reach their blogs through my side bar or from the Tellen's blog. As always please remember that there is only one entry per person. The DIVAS will stop by your blogs and leave you comments. So join us this week. Terry is also giving away a freebie this week. So if you don't have any of her images this is a way to get one. If you choose to enter the challenge, you don't have to use a Tellen's image, but if you do, you get extra points when it comes to the voting.  Now on to my card.

Now, this is really not a card that I plan to send to anyone, but I will be adding it to my art journal. I love doing little scenes and this background paper is almost the last little piece. Jessica and Edward are out and he doesn't think that Jessica can play. But, believe me he is in for a surprise. This was colored with my copics B12, B14, B21, E11, E13, E09,E37, E15,  E50, E51, E000, Y02, Y04, Y19, YR14, YR18. The card base is scrap from my stash, The DP is from the Paper Studio, (I think). The sentiment I made it up on my computer. Well, that is it for now I hope to be back really soon with a new creation. So please join us this week for this challenge at Tellen's Place. We love to hear from you.

LUCK OF THE IRISH

Wow, what a week this has been. I am so late with this post and the reason is that I have not had any internet service. On Wednesday before going to bed, I used the computer to visit a few blogs. When I got up on Thursday morning I did not have any service. So, I tried rebooting the computer, checking my broadband device. Nothing worked. I left going to work and when I returned I once again tried connecting to the internet and once again no luck. This is when I called tech support. After an hour on the phone with them. I found out that there was a problem with the tower. It was not sending out any signal. Ok, I asked how long this would take to fix. Of course, he did not have a clue. John was very nice and he took my lousy attitude in stride. I was not a happy camper. He gave me a free month worth of service (which is something) but it does not get my work done. He said it would probably be another 24 hours from our conversation before the service would be working. Guess what, Friday I still did not have any service. As a matter of fact I did not get service until yesterday. And since my plans were set in motion sometime ago, I spent most of the day with friends scrapbooking and the earlier part of the morning taking photos of flowers and birds and trying to get some exercise in. So to make a long story short, I am just posting my card for the Tellen's Place Challenge. The challenge is "Where's the Leprechaun" or the GREEN?  Please stop by and join us for this challenge. We love visiting your blogs and leaving comments. And this week Terry is also giving away a freebie that can be used for this challenge.

Did I use enough green? The image is from 2010. And I thought that my sentiment went perfectly with it. Edward really does look like he is asking the question. The image was colored with copics and I really can't believe that I did not write them down. The St. Patricks Day paper was done on the computer in Word. The shamrocks are stickers from my stash and the green pearls are also from my stash. There are a few challenges.

GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN

Good morning, I am back with another post, my 2nd in 3 days. I think that I am starting to get things in perspective. And by not spending hours and hours on the computer hopping around, I am getting more creating done. I have set aside time to visit blogs for commenting and for visiting with my different groups. I will let you know how this works out.

Now for an announcement. In a few weeks I will be having a birthday. I have not decided how I will celebrate it yet, but their will some fun involved. I will let you know my plans soon.

Here is the reason that I am here. I have made a new creation. The image is one from the Tellen's 2009 designs. Terry sent it to me last year in a goodie box along with lots of wonderful supplies. She is such a sweet heart and really looks out for her design team. I had never colored this image and only remembered that I had it while trying to organize my digis. I tend to print way to many and then never get them colored. Stick them in a bag and forget them. So this little beauty got stuck in the bag also. But, now she is found and I think that she is gorgeous. I don't know her name, she is colored with copics E30, E31, E33, BV08,BV11, G24, W5, W3, WW7. I don't do a lot of black hair, so I think I could use some practice on that. I also used the spica lavender glitter pen on her shoes. My DP papers are from Basic Grey, the Kioshi pad, the card stock is Bazzill. I used the swirls embossing folder and the diamond folder from Cuttlebug. I used my small daisy flower punch for the flowers and punched them out of some handmade papers that I had. The center of the flowers are some bling that I have picked up along the way. The little butterfly bling are from my stash.

The sketch that I used is from The Pixie Cottage and flowers are the added something. I flipped the sketch around.
So, that is it for my card and if you know me, you know that there are several challenges that I will be entering this into. I will be adding this to my art journal, but it is a design I will probably get to use in the future.

LET' GO FOR A RIDE

Happy Friday everyone. I am soooo glad that this work week has come to an end. I feel like I have worked way more than forty hours. Don't get me wrong, I really do love my job. It has so much variety and challenges. But, when my personal life gets as busy at it has been. I start wishing for some time to relax, like now. I have been off work since 1 pm. I had a few errands to run  and then came home and made a late lunch. Now that I have eaten, I can get my card posted. This morning was a rush, I hit the snooze on the alarm way to many times and then I was rushing to get to work by 7 am. This is so unlike me.

But, on to the reason that I am here. This being Friday, it is time for another challenge over at Tellen's Place and this week we want to see a card for the MALE of our species. I don't have to make many cards for the males around me. My son is so easy to please and he is the only one in my immediate family that I send cards to. I have a daughter and 4 granddaughters and they all are girly and loves lots of ribbons and bows and bling. So when I have to change my pace and not use the bling bling, I have a hard time. And it takes me twice as long to get a project finished. But, I finally did finish and here it is.

In stead of making a card that I won't necessarily use, I decided to put this in an art journal. I have made so many cards in the last year and given so many away. But, I still have enough to get me through the year. So unless I get a request for something special or specific, I will be putting my designs in this journal. The image is Edward and he loves his skateboard. I thought he needed a neighborhood to ride around in. Edward is colored with copics E11, E13, B00, B01, B02, B02, B06, E40, E41, W3 on the skateboard and then I went over it with a silver gel pen. the movement lines was made with a white gel pen and the silver. The sentiment was done on my computer. The paper is a piece that I had left over from another project and I think I got it at Hobby Lobby. It had different designs on both sides. I liked the houses and the trees and that was why I bought it. I am going to have to try and find a couple of more sheets someplace. The dark blue paper was embossed with the Tim Holtz checkerboard embossing folder. That is it for the card details and yest there will be some challenges.

RETAIL THERAPY

Wow, another Friday and over at Tellen's Place the challenge for this week is "Polka Dots". Well, I like polka dots and I bought this particular paper to use on a baby scrapbook that I have only done a few pages for, I really do need to get to work on that. But, instead I decided to use some of it on a scrapbook page for me. Back in August when I went to Chicago, I told you that I went to Archivers to shop. Well, I did shop. As a matter of fact I went back for a second time before I came back home. The employees got a kick out of my first visit because I had my granddaughter take pictures of me shopping, I knew that I would have to do a scrapbook page of my visit. I used the shopping diva image from Tellen's. I really liked her because she has lots of bags in her hands. I colored the image with copics E00, E11, E13, E15, E09, E25, E53, E21, RV00, RV02, RV0000, RV11 and the pink spica glitter pen. I used a little antique linen distress ink around the edges just to tone down the white. I used Bazzill card stock for my background sheet and the pink polka dot paper is from The Paper Studio. The letters and numbers were cut on my wonderful Cricut using the Jublilee cartridge. The flower is from Prima and was bought on this particular shopping trip. If you look closely at the center photo you will see these same flowers on the shelves.

Yes I do have a couple of challenges that this will work on. I know that I have not been posting very nuch this month, and I will do better. But, I found that I was spending way to much time blogging and being on the computer during the last year. I have had to try and get this under control. There were too many things in my life that I just let go by the wayside once I got interested in card making and blogging. So, I will be posting a couple of times a week and I hope to get in more designing and the time to try more different techniques.

RIBBONS! RIBBONS

Wow, what a week this has been. But, I am so glad that it is Friday and time for the weekend. I have not done any creating this week. I have not been writing in my journal and I have not done much of anything but try to work. I can't afford to miss any work. So I go and do the best I can do even when I don't feel so hot. I have so many things that I need to catch up on. Getting an ice storm did not help matters. Would you believe that there are still places in town where the ice is still on the ground. Oh well, what are we going to do? Did I tell you all that I got my new Canon camera for Christmas. I love that camera. I am waiting to here from the photographer who gives photography classes here in town. I talked to him on Tuesday and I am waiting to hear from him. I know he has a class going on right now. So I am hoping that I can get in the next one. I am just so excited.

Since today is Friday, it is time for another challenge at Tellen's Place Designs this week the challenge is ribbons. I love ribbons, they come is such gorgeous colors and styles. The ribbon that I chose to use reminds me of a garter. The card that I made is part of a set of note cards that I made for a friend who is a member of a sorority. She saw the image I used last year before Christmas and said that she wanted me to make her some note cards with it. Well, I finally finished them. They were colored with my copics E00,. E11, E13, R24, R27, R29 and the red spica glitter pen. I used card stock from Bazzill, the greek letters were typed on the computer. Did you know that if you go to the symbols under your fonts in Windows 7, put on the caps lock you will get Greek Letters. How cool is that?

I gave my friend the cards without the ribbon. I used the swiss dots embossing folder from Cuttlebug. And the spellbinders curved rectangles .

There are a couple of challenges.

Craft your Passions  use ribbon or anything you can tie on
Crafty Cardmaker Use Red and a Die cut
PaperPlay Challenges Cutie Patootie
Stamp Something anything goes

Well, that is it for now. I have lots of images that I colored during the Christmas break. I hope to get something else put together very soon.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011

Good morning, I hope that everyone had a fabulous Christmas. I did, I spent it with my 2 sisters and their families in Georgia and we had a wonderful time. Good food and fellowship and lots of presents. Can you believe that I got 6 Cricut cartridges. Well, some of them were my gifts from last year. Since I was unable to make it over there. So they were waiting for me this year.  On Christmas it rained and then the rain turned to snow and it actually stuck to the grass and cars and then froze up. On Sunday the temperature was freezing and the wind was blowing at about 27 miles per hour. Before I moved south, I never thought that it got that cold. Well the holidays are almost over and I glad to be back to creating. I am looking forward to a new year with lots of new opportunities. I am looking for a photography class and I am starting to train for my first 5K of the year.

If you will notice, I have added another app to my blog. It is the "TOP TEN MEMBERS" I would love it if you would sign in when you come for a visit and let me know you were here.

Ok, now for the reason that I am here. The TELLEN'S PLACE DESIGN TEAM has been on hiatis and now we are back. The DIVAS have been really busy creating and we are looking forward to a great year with lots of fun challenges. Today we would like to wish you all a  Happy New Year and we would love it if you would stop by and check us out at Tellen's Place Designs. Our first challenge will be on January 7th. Come on by and play with us. There are lots of new images at the shop and the DIVAS are all rested and ready to rock. In stead of a card, I made a scrapbook layout. I have lots of pictues to work with and I loved the images that I used from Tellen's.

Have you made any new years resolutions. Or like me have you set new goals and opportunities for yourself. My next post I will tell you a couple of my goals for the year. Now here is my project.

My images are colored with copics E00, E11, E13, E09, E15, E25, E53, G12, R24, R27, R29, W1, W3, W5, W7, Y08, spica glitter pens red and gold. This is not a really good picture. The lighting in my room was not so good when I took this. And no I did not use my new camera. The title of my page was cut with my Cricut and Jubliee cartridge and then I used stickles Christmas red on each letter. You can't see the sparkle but it is there. The bling is from my stash, when I bought it , I bought all I could get because I loved it so. Red, black and clear bling all in one place. What's not to love. The card stock is Bazzill The glitter paper behind the images is some that was in my Christmas present from my sister and is from DCWV it has different shades of gray and lots of glitter. The pack is fabulous with lots of different designs and lots of glitter. She said that she thought it would make really pretty cards. I agree with that. What would one of my post be without some challenges to go along with it.
