More Birthday Wishes

Earlier I posted a birthday card that I entered into several challenges. One of the challenges (the one for Inktegrity Designs should have been a very basic card. Mine had lots of bling and papers. I decided to make another card to fit the challenge. The sketch was theirs.

Now this better fits the challenge.

Lilac and Aqua

It is Sunday afternoon already and I have not finished no where near as much as I planned. But, I did finish this little card and I wanted to share it.  As the title states the colors are lilac and aqua. Tilda is my image and I think she is called the pink Tilda. But, I colored her in lilac. I used my Copics and I think this card has become one of my favorites to date. That will probably change with my next card. But for now, this is it.
The card has taken me off into challenge land. You know how I love a challenge.  I will list them all soon. The Copics used were;

Skin: E31, E21, E33
Hair: E09, E21, E25
Dress/leggings: V12, V04 (lots of layering withthe color) lilac Spica glitter pen
The card base is Bazzill, the DP is from the Paper Studio, The aqua roses are from Prima's new spring mix, the  lilac roses are from my stash. The leaves/branches are a Martha Stewart punch, which I recently got at Walmart after it was put on clearance. All of the bling is from my stash that keeps on growing. The ribbon was in a goodie bag that I recently received for my birthday.  The tag is from Spellbinders fancy tag collection. I just recently ordered the new ribbon tags from Joann fabrics. I can't wait until they get here. I sat Tilda on the ribbon, because I did not want her to be floating in the air. Tildas mat was cut with my Nesstibilities large deckled rectangles. and then I embossed it with the Cuttlebug argyle folder. That's it. Now on to the challenges.

TELLEN'S PLACE BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE #6

Hi all, if it is Wednesday, it is time for another Tellen's Place Challenge. The challenge this week is a birthday challenge. So this  challenge came at a good time since I just had a birthday yesterday. Birthdays mean presents and presents are fun for everyone. I know I am really happy with mine. I got all kinds of goodies to make more cards, Basic Grey papers two packs, more Bazzill papers, punches and flowers. Plus cash. What a day.

We all appreciate everybody who joined us for last weeks challenge and look forward to you coming back again. Tellen's Place has a lot of new images that we are showing off with this weeks challenge and they can be purchased at the Tellen's Place Designs. Go on over and take a look. I am sure you will find something to love. I have been a fan of Terry's and Tellen's Place since the beginning. And being a part of the design team is a dream come true.

Well, on to my card. You know I colored it with my Copics:

Cake: E02, E40, E41, E42 and used glossy accents to make it shine
the toy on the side of little girl: V01, V12
Candle: V15/Flame R08
Bear: W1, W3
I used my Cuttlebug and the birthday folder to emboss my purple paper. I have to tell you that all of my papers came from the scrap file except for the card base. The card base is  Bazzill. The DP is from scrap file. This image had a few more elements than I am used to but, it was fun to color. The birthday presents are from a stamp designed by Tara Reed from Stamps Happen, Inc. They were colored with Spica glitter pens and Sukura gel pens. The bling is from my stash.

Meet Fabiana

I saw Fabiana on the Copic Buzz site and knew that I had to have her on a card or scrapbook page. She was a free digital image from Victoria Case. She was intended for a challenge, but I did not have enough time to get her finished for the challenge. Isn't she fabulous and sassy.

The paper used is from my stash of scrapbook paper. Cricut was used to cut my Birthday greeting and the wonderful little Cuttlebug was used for the textured paper. I think the cake is a Magnolia stamp I had it left over from a card class and it was perfect for this card. The rhinestones are from the $1 basket at Michaels.
