One More Christmas Card

Wow, I can't believe I've finished one more card this week. I am on a roll. This card is a Christmas card, I actually thought that I was finished with Christmas. But, not quite. Next week is my departments Christmas party and it is given by the department head at her home. She supplies all of the food and gifts for dirty santa. The food is really good and the dirty santa game gets really interesting sometimes. We always take up a collection from everyone in the department and buy her something really nice. I volunteered to make a card instead of giving her a store bought card. Well here it is.

Another thing, this card is for the sketch challenge at Pixie Cottage this week. The image used is called Mrs. Tilly Claus and was a freebie from Digital Doodling by Wendy. Thank you Wendy. I hope that you like my take on Tilly.

I used my Copics to color Tilly with. For her coat and skirt I used BG18 and BG72. For the fur around the bottom of the coat and the muff I used W1, W3 and W5. For her hair I used Y21, E25 and E31. Skin I only used E21. and for her shoes I used E25. The snowflakes and ground snow I used crystal stickles. The paper was all bought specifically for this project, the colors are teal, aqua, Turquoise. You see, I colored Tilly before I knew which papers I was going to use. I know this is backwards but it worked. The paper that I matted the image with is a pearl green glitter paper from Walmart, which comes in a pack of maybe 20 sheets for $8. One sheet of glitter paper at Hobby Lobby cost $1.99. The bling and flower are from my ever increasing stash. The ribbon is about 2" wide, sheer with silver along the edges, it had wire in it and I removed the wire because it was easier to use for this project. It has teal, blue, turquoise and silver circles on it. It was given to me by a friend who had used it for one of her projects.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of Tilly.
