SHADES OF GRAY

My next post is for a challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil 2, It called for shades of gray. I really love the way this card turned out. I am going to give it to my sister and brother-in-law for their anniversary which just happens to be the day before her birthday. Wow, she is going to have to be my slave for life after she gets all of her goodies. The image that I have used is Jack and Ginger by Mo. and they were just perfect for this card. I colored it with my Copics and this time I did not lose my notes.

Ginger's Hair: C1, C3
Jacks Hair: C3, C5
Skin:
Ginger/Jack: E42, E31, E21
Ginger's clothes: W1, W3, shoes: W5, W3, purse: W5, W7
Jack's clothes W5, W7 Shoes, W1, W3
Flowers in hand and on hat: v17, V12
The punch is from EK...
The gray rhinestones came from Michaels, I was so surprised to see that color that I just had to buy them.

The gray flowers are from Primas from Michaels. and the purple rose was given to me by a friend. The gray paper used for the card base is from Hobby Lobby the Paper Studio. The DP paper is from Walmart, I was looking around for papers with gray in them and they had what they called a scrap pack and is by Best Occasions. It came with 10 sheets of 8.5x11 paper. and accent punches with words and frames and and I think I must have paid about $4-6 for it. but hey I did not have time to look for a better deal.

As I was going through my notebook, I realized that I could also use this card for the challenge at Sophisti-Cat, it is about love. Love at any age should count. When you see this card you will know they are in love.
Well here it is.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of my card.

  10. Oh what a lovely card, such a gorgeous image, very gentle and so nice to see a different "Valentine/Love" card, just shows it doesn't have to be red hearts! Gorgeous.

Thanks for taking part in my challenge and joining us over at Sophisticats this week.

  11. This had to be a hard card to color. To use all of those shades of gray. Using colors so close together and still having dimension in a card is hard to do and you did it perfectly. I am so jealous at how well you color with your copics! Beautiful work.
    Hugs,
    Pam
