BIRTHDAY WISHES and GREAT SURPRISES

"THIS CARD WAS A WINNER AT DELIGHTFUL CHALLENGES METAL MANIA CHALLENGE"

Happy Saturday everybody. Before I get to my card, I would like to thank Pricilla Styles at MIDNIGHT MADNESS and her wonderful design team, along with Janice Hopper of Sunshine and Giggles for the wonderful prize that I won in the Midnight Madness Monthly (September) contest here is a picture. Plus, $20 worth of digital images from Sunshine and Giggles which I have received already and can't wait to start coloring them.

How wonderful is this. Flowers, ribbons, lace, webbing, bling, pearls, paper and more paper. Wow,  I can't wait until in arrives. Thank you again Pricilla and Janice.

My card for today is a Midnight Madness sketch:
And, yes I chose the more fancy of the two. My card is a birthday card that a friend asked me to make for her cousin. this card is a little different because the image is on the inside instead of the outside. The image that I used is a stamp that I bought at Hobby Lobby last year. and it states that "I don' do mornings". It is not how I feel, because I love the mornings. But, it was a sentiment that I know many people do feel. I was not sure how I would work it into a birthday card, but this is what she wanted so here is what I came up with.

This is the outside, so perfect for the Midnight Madness challenge.

and the inside. My friend loved it and says that so did her cousin. It seems the cousin is the one who really is not a morning person. She took it to work with her and guess what. People at the police station where she works liked it and wanted to know if they could get cards. I will let you know what happens from that.

Now, a little about the the card. The image is from Stampabilities at Hobby Lobby. The paper is Bazzill, the DP paper on the front, I am not sure where it is from it was just in my stash. I think my daughter sent it to me. I used the Spellbinders nestibilities to cut the frame. And it was cut on my Cuttlebug. The embossing was done with the birthday embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The written sentiment was made up by me and typed on the computer. The front of the card was embossed using the swirls embossing folder. The brads are from my stash as is the ribbon. The birthday sentiment is from a set that I bought at Michaels on clearance. I colored the image with copics E00, E11, BV20, BV23, RV91, RV93 and spica lilac and pink

And of course, there are challenges.
Paper Cutz Anything Goes
Our Creative Corner Embellishments, the more the better
Delightful challenges Metal Mania (my brads)
Digi Doodles My Peeps (people images)

Well, I guess this is it for this card and this post. I would love to hear from you and all comments are welcome.

  13. I just sooo much love this images. The ones with the chocolate are just for me - so it is so great that there is actually an image for every person ;-) And let's be honest who REALLY "do mornings"?

And the sentiment on the front is awesome.
