It is very simple and clean. I used one of my new embossing folders from Tim Holtz. The stamp was bought at Hobby Lobby in the clearance isle and I typed the sentiment on my computer. Colored both with copics E51, E50, E54, E31, E33. The chocolate paper is from The Paper Studio (one of my favorite browns). Yes, there are a couple of challenges.

WHAT'S BREWING
Do you ever have one of those mornings where you just have to have just one more cup of coffee? Well, I do. This is one of them. I have been having a very slow start this morning. I am supposed to be meeting my friend at the park so we can walk. Well, I just went out to my car to get my shoes and guess what. it is kind of cold. It makes me want to just get back in the bed and pull the covers up over my head. Oh well, I am up now and I might as well post this card. You guessed it. It is my cup of latte (coffee).

Hey there, Joynana, love to see that you participated in our theme this week. Oh, I can empathize on the wanting to go right back to bed - it was cold and rainy this week and I was strongly fighting the urge to ask for a do-over (lol). This is a fun card, I like the embossed texture on the background (makes me think of the comfy chairs just outside the Starbucks). The sentiment is perfect (great minds think alike) and your coloring is cheerful (like I should be on a second cup of coffee). I hope you overcame the doldrums, drank that coffee and went walking.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for playing with us!
Hi Joyana,
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card... yes, I agree, this shade of chocolate is awesome. And I do so love the sentiment and the image. Yes, today I had lots of coffee that is why I find this card extra, extra sweet.
I am a follower of your great site now...
