EMBALMING/EMBOSSING CHALLENGE

Hey all, another Friday is upon us and I am sure ready for it. It has been a very busy long week. I have been late getting home every night and I really need some rest. Has anyone seen my MOJO. I seem to have lost it or it ran away from home. Maybe it thought that I was using it to much and decided to get away for awhile. But, if you see it, please tell it to come on back home. I really need it and miss it. Oh well, the reason that I am here. It is Friday so that means that it is time for another challenge over at Tellen's Place. Let me tell you you are going to love this challenge. It is soo out of the ordinary for this time of year. Yes, in my title it is says embalming. The idea is to use your scary halloween images. Well, I am a girly girl and I really don't do scary, so I went with the make believe. I love fairies and and I used one of Tellen's newer images. The embalming came about for this April fools day because our senior Designer Lyn decided to play a joke of the team. I was the one that did not even notice the change. She changed embossing to embalming in our weekly schedule and it stuck. So please join us this week for another fun challenge at Tellen's. The DIVAS have been really busy getting ready and they have some wonderful projects to share with you. You can see these at the Tellen's challenge blog or you can visit each DIVA at there own blogs which can be reached from my side bar. When you link your project to the linky tool at Tellen's the DIVAS will each visit your blog and leave a lovely comment. But, please remember that there is only one entry per person. Leaving more than one entry will not increase your chances of winning, but if you use a Tellen's image you will get more points in the voting. So joining us and I will be by for a visit.  Now, here is my card.

I really love purple, as you can see from this photo. The purple corrogated card board is from a scrap pack that I bought when I started scrapbooking years ago. I never found any use for it until I started making cards. Now I can't get enough of if. I used this instead of regular card stock for the texture of it. I embossed the Bazzill lilac shiny paper with the Cuttlebug embossing folder, and i forget what this one is called and I did not write it on the storage envelope either. I will find out. The background for my fairy is the Cuttlebug leafy branch folder. the stamps are from a clear set from Recollections at Michaels. It is a fairy set. The stretchy shiny cord is from a 3 pack set that I bought at Tuesday Mornings for $1.99. There were about 10 different cords in the 3 packs. What a deal right. I colored my image with copics E09, E11, E13, E15, spica purple glitter pen. and I also used a metallic marker that I won from a store in the U.K. it is Marvy Metallics. But, I don't think the paper that I used was thick enough to use these markers. But, I do love the colors. Yes, there are a few challenges.
