Good morning, I am here to early on Sunday morning and wish that I was still sleeping. I had a great time with my friends yesterday at our bi-monthly crop. As usual we had good food and lots of fun. I got quite a bit done on my daughters Las Vegas album and hope to finish it soon. But, today I am just going to show some ATC's that I made for a swap a couple of weeks ago. The swap was over at the Stamping Ground for the "Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday" 3rd anniversary celebration. If you don't know what it is, you should really check it out this Wednesday. It is loads of fun and a chance to visit some other blogs and see what others are working on.
The base is made from paper that was left from an envelope mini album that I made a few months ago. The paper is from Recollection, the Femme Fatal pad. The strips were adhere on an angle and then a thin coat of glitter glue was added. Once that dried I popped up the sentiment and the word artist was copied from a set of embellishments that I bought at Joann's for $1. I scanned them, enlarged the word artist, cut it out and put a layer of glossy accents on. I love the effect that I got. You can see the glittery shine from the Tulip diamond glitter. I used the Krylon 18kt gold leafing pen to go around the edges of the cards. Well, that is it. I hope you enjoyed your visit. The sentiment is Tim Holtz.
