Hi all, the weather here is hot, hot, HOT. And I have not gotten as much done as I would have liked this week end. Yesterday I spent some time with my cousin, we went to Birmingham and did a little shopping. I got to go to Joanns and Tuesday morning and found several good buys. I got a 5" XYRON for $14.99 and some 7 Gypsies stamps at Tuesday mornings. I also got some great fibers.
These stamps were $2.99 each.
At joanns, I bought a few embellishments that had been clearanced out and lots of bling from the $1 bin. Online at Joann's.com I got me a new Sizzix Big Shot for $59.99. I can't wait until it gets here. I have been thinking about it for a while. And since I have bought so many of the Tim Holtz dies, I thought using them would be easier on the Big Shot instead of the Cuttlebug.
I also went to the new Big Lots that just opened here in town. The original one got blown away in the tornado last year. So I am really glad that they are back. They did not have much scrapbooking stuff, but I got the following stamps for $1.50 each. They are having their grand opening next week. So, I hope they get more stuff in.
The 2 long sets are from Hampton art and the Graphic 45 stamps of the vintage ladies I already have, but for a buck 50 I could not resist. I will give them to one of my friends for Christmas. But, I really love the journalling stamps.
