2 SISTERS INSIDE and OUT CHALLENGE #94

Good morning, it is that time again. Time for another fun challenge over at 2 Sisters Challenge blog. This time it is "Inside/Out" We want to see your card decorated both on the inside and the outside. Since  that is something that I do on a normal basis it was easy to get it done. I just love the feel of a card that is done both inside and out. So, stop on by and join us. There are prizes to be won.

Alright, now for a little about my card. The first layer is some vellum from Memory Makers (I do love using this as my first layer). The card stock is Bazzill and both inside and out was embossed with embossing folders from Cuttlebug. The music paper is from the Paper Studio. The DP is K and Company. I have fallen in love with their papers. They are all double sided and have some wonderful designs. The image was colored with Copics BV00, BV0000, BV02, BV04,E11, E13, E15, E53,N2, Y28 and a clear glitter pen from sukura. The image is from Stitchy Bear Stamps  the artist is  Barbara Jensen (Shy girl).

2 SISTERS ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE #90

Good morning everyone, it is Saturday and time for some fun. Lots of creating to get to and another great challenge for you at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog, this week the challenge is Anything Goes. And the card that I made is a birthday card for a co-workers mothers. She loves flowers and I thought that this one would be perfect for her. This is the second year that I have done her birthday card.

I really loved howthis turned out. The image is from our wonderful sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and is called Dandy flower.

The image was colored with copics Y04, Y08, Y38, YG06 and YG05. After coloring 2 images I then cut one out and popped it up with pop dots and  The background was colored in with Tim Holtz distress inks wild honey and evergreen bough (from the winter seasonal set). The card stock is from my Minds Eye and I have been hoarding because I do love these papersbut, the first layer is vellum from Making Memories. I really love this vellum, when I bought it I wasn't sure what I would do with it and now I find my self using it all the time. It came in about eight different colors and it makes a wonderful first layer I also used it on the inside of my card to give it a uniformed look. The bling is from my stash and I used the cloud corner chomper from crop-i-dile. 2 SISTERS BLACK, WHITE AND A TOUCH OF ONE OTHER COLOR #89

Good morning, it is time for another challenge at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog. this week it is a color challenge "Black, white and a touch of one other color." Black and white have to be the predominant color. So, come on and join us for another fun challenge.

My card this week is a double pocket card. What I like about this card is that it is made from 1 - 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper (Recollections), the tags were cut on my cricut and the flowers are from my stash and the image is The Digi Garden

2 SISTERS SKETCH CHALLENGE #86

Hi all, I am running a little late this morning, have way to much to try to get done in a short amount of time. I had to be out of the house by 7 am and there was not much time to post. But, I have a few minutes and thought that I should get this done now. Today at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog we have a sketch challenge. You can flip it and add lots of embellishments as long as you can see the sketch is  there.

They a loads of wonderful images and you really should stop by and check them out. The image that I have used is  Reese's Scrap Pieces ~ Flower Bear. I have colored it with my copics E21, E50, E53, E81, G24, Y32, Y35, Y38, V01, V04. I also used the spica yellow glitter pen.  The papers are all from the scrap file and the backgroun die cut is from Spellbinders. 2 SISTERS "RECIPE CHALLENGE" #81

Good morning everyone, today is Saturday, so that must mean it is time for another challenge at 2 Sisters. this week the challenge is a recipe:

With the weather being so weird here the last couple of months, I just felt ready for a little spring time. I loved the look of this image from Stitchy Bear Stamps

The image is called Sookie and I colored her using my copics E00, E11, E13, E15, E53, YG11, YG61, YG25 and the spica glitter pen melon. The papers are basic grey from the Wisteria line. It has been so long since I pulled any of my basic greys out, I felt that it was time. The bling is from my stash and the flower was colored with copics a little y02 and yg11. The spring stamp is from Michaels $1 bin.  The card stock is bazzill.

2 SISTERS COLOR CHALLENGE

Good morning and happy Saturday, it is time for another 2 Sisters Challenge and this week it is a color challenge - RED - WHITE - PINK. The sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps. They have furnished us with some lovely images and the one that I have used is (Floppy Latte Design ~ Tulips).

I thought that this image deserved to be the focus of the card so I kept the design simple and uncluttered. It makes a perfect Valentine card. I colored the image with Copics R81, R83, R85, YG03, YG05, YG06. The papers are from my scrap file, I used to Spellbinders die cuts and the bling is from my stash. I embossed the background with the Cuttlebug hearts embossing folder. Don't forget to stop by the Stitchy Bear Digital store.

The image chosen by me this week is  a Floppy Latte Design image and is called Butterfly Solace. I love fairies and this one is fabulous.

All of the papers for this card come from my scrap file. I colored the image wings of the image with copics V01, V09, V04 and V12. Then I went over the colored parts with a glitter pen, purple and lilac by Atyou Spica. The stamps are from a set by Recollections and the bling is from my stash. I used the birds and swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug. Now that you have seen my card I know that my team members would love it if you came by for a visit.
