Let's Celebrate

Good morning, It is Monday morning and almost time for me to get out in the cold to head back to work. But, that is Ok, I really love my job and it provides the cash to pay for this wonderful hobby of mine. The card of the day, is a birthday card for my second oldest granddaughter. Her birthday is next month and I like to be prepared. This card was made to used in two challenges, the first is Friday Sketchers challenge #88. They have some wonderful sketches and this is why I keep going back. The second challenge is from Cute Card Thursday challenge #98, Spots and Dots. Now on to the card.

This the sketch from Friday Sketchers. I had to reverse, I got distracted and glued a couple of pieces of paper with the card going the wrong way.

First for my papers. I used the new My Minds Eye that I bought over the weekend. I love these papers. Each page can be used with the next. And I am really getting into my New Years resolution to use more DP paper. I never knew how much fun that could be. Of course I colored with my Copics. The following is what I used.

Skin: E31, E33, E21
Hair: E09, E25, E21
Shoes: W5, W3
Apron/Dress/Socks: Y15, Y17, Y26, G24, G21, Spica glitter pen Butterscotch.
Bling is from Michaels $1 bin
The flowers are from Primas new line, roses and summer mix
The sentiment is stamped and then I went over it with a mettalic gel pen by Sukura. They don't have color names they have numbers. Well, here is my card.

Yes, I used Tilda with her hands in her pockets, from the winter kit. And yes I have used her before. I really love this image. I wish my lighting was better so that you could see the true colors of this paper. She can be purchased at the Magnolia-licious Online Store, the service is quick and Diana gives the best customer service. I have been very pleased with the service. I am waiting now for the new spring edition of the magazine. It should be here today or tomorrow.

I would love to hear from you.
