Tellen's Place Valentine Challenge #5

Good morning blog land. Today is the first official day of my Design Team duties. I want to thank Terry once again for invited me to be on her team. I have enjoyed joining in with the challenges over at TELLEN'S PLACE, and now I get to play a part in the inspiration for the challenges. How cool is that. Life is good. What is even better is that now I get to enteract with the whole team. Michelle, Fink, Janie, Tanisha (who is deployed at this time, we pray that she stays safe)  Lynda, Mia and Terry. The ladies have welcomed me to the team and made me feel like that's the way it has always been. But, what they don't know is that when I got the news, I jumped up and did my happy dance. What a sight that was.

If you have visited my blog at any time, you know that I love challenges and that I love Tellen's Place challenges and the images that she so graciously gives us to use in her challenges. Well now there is a brand new Tellen's Place designs online store. Where we can buy all the images that we want. And though, I can no longer enter the challenges, I hope that someone will walk away from my work inspired or at least with and idea that they can use.

Ok, on to the challenge. This weeks challenge has a Valentine theme. And the challenge is to use 5 hearts on your project. I chose to use the freebie which you can get from the Tellen's  Place blog. I chose this image because I was in the mood for a celebration. First, to celebrate my first week as Design Team member at Tellen's Place and second, my birthday is coming up soon and  that deserves much celebration. I hear a lot of women say that they stop counting their birthdays, me I count every one of them. I feel blessed to still be around to celebrate them and I want a whole lot more to count.

I stuck with the tradidtional valentine colors of red and pink. I used lots of bling and hearts. The paper is from Hobby Lobby the Paper Studio and I colored my image with my Copics.

Hair: E09, E25, E21
skin: E31, E33, E21
blouse: R27, R29
Rose: RV11, RV14 spica glitter pen pink/on the jewelry I used Spica glitter pen (Sand)
Champagne glass: I used glossy accents

The bling was $.59 at Michaels. The hearts were punched with a Martha Stewart embossing punch. The heart charm is from Stamp & Create. The DP paper is from Hobby Lobby Paper Studio. The card stock base is Bazzill and the swiss dot card stock is also from Bazzill (dotted swiss). On the inside I used some had made paper from Hobby Lobby on the left side (I really love this paper). and on the right side I used DP from the Paper Studio. The sentiment was stamped with clear plastic stamp from Walmart and then I went over it with Sukura metallic gel pen. Well here is my card:

I love to hear from you.
