Happy Wednesday, and if it is Wednesday it is time for another Tellen's Place challenge. This week the challenge is "all about you" or in my case All about Me. This week we received images that were drawn just for each of the design team by Terry's son, Markus. He is a fantastic artist. For my image the only thing he had to work with was the image of me that I use on my blog. Which was drawn by a young man several years ago while I was having lunch in a small cafe, right after I moved here. He drew it on a paper bag. I kept it on my desk for a few years and then I decided to frame it. Right after I framed it, I started blogging and decided to use that image for my blog. Markus looked at that image and then he drew me as he thought I might look. Well you must know that I am a few years older. But, I do love what he has done. I am thinking about sending him a real picture to see what he can do with my short natural hair. Anyway, please go by the other DT blogs and take a look at the their images they are all really cute. You can get to their blogs from my sidebar. Go by Tellen's Place for the challenge and show us just a little about your selves. Don't forget to stop by the Tellen's Place Designs the images are wonderful. And they keep adding more to the store along with mini kits.
I love this image. and this scrapbook page gives a little information about me. Some you know and some you don't know. My friend Pam says that I should have told a little bit more about myself. I say I would have bored you to death. I collect canes and walking sticks. the one picture holds a few of the ones that I have . I am really looking for some that are more ornate. I saw a purple one that I plan to buy, I have been waiting to see if it will go on sale any time soon. You know how I hate to pay full price.
Anyway, here is a little about my card. I colored the image of me with my copics and the papers are all from my stash. some is scraps others I don't have a clue where it came from. The ribbon is from my friend Pam, I told her I needed some aqua ribbons and she brought me several different shades. The charm is from Stamp and Create. My title was made with letters from my scrapbook stash of embellishments. The sketch is from Skipping Stones, but I am to late for their challenge. I liked the sketch so I used it anyway.I will be entering this page into a challenge over at Stampin For the Weekend the challenge is ribbons and bows. I got that.
Don't forget about the blog candy that I will be giving away for my anniversary celebration.

Love the layout Joyce! The colors you used are great. I love what you did with your blog background!
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce, how cool is this layout! You colored your image so wonderfully - loving this purple, girl! I agree with Pam - tell a little more about yourself; each reveal is exciting and fun for us, not boring at all! ;) TFS!
