I am early tonight but, it is time for another WOYWW. What is that you might ask? What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday was started by the wonderful Julia Dunnit at The Stamping Ground. And it is a time for crafty bloggers from around the world to get a chance to see who is making what. Or who has created some wonderful piece of art. Basically it is a time to be nosey and take a peek at somebody elses stuff. So join us. Go on over to the Stamping Ground and take a look around.
I am so glad that we don't have to work tomorrow and since I have some time off it is now time to finish my beach travel journal. I have been cutting my papers and getting things together. I still need to make my cover and right now I am just not sure what papers to use. I have made a couple of flip books to add to pages and I can have more photos on one page. I will probably make several more of them. I have some pages that I want to decorate on one side. This book is going to be really interactive. But, once it is done I will get it posted.
Some lovely bright colors, so perfect for a beach theme. I am going to mat the flip books with some of the papers that I have used for the book.
My desk from a different angle. On the left is my box of goodies for my smash books and towards the back are several bottles of perfect pearls and 4 brand new bottles of glimmer mist. I will be having a fun time spraying paper tomorrow.
Well, that is my desk for this week. Hope everyong has a wonderful day tomorrow. I will be celebrating the 4th of July right here in my craft room and later on I will join my cousins for some fireworks. On Thursday it is back to work.
Don't forget that I have some Tim Holtz products that I will be giving away. You can get to the post on the side bar. I would love for you to join me.

Hi Joynana, I am posting early too. I don't think I will have much time tomorrow to peek at desks so I just posted now.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your album because I am always looking for ways to add more photos when I create mini albums. The colors you chose are perfect, nice and vibrant and happy like the beach.
Oh I sure would love to peek into that Smash album container. I need to loosen up with mine and for some reason I don't.
I hope you have lots of fun working on your album and enjoy some fireworks.
Happy 4th!

ReplyDeleteStaying indoors and having fun is the best way to beat this heat, I think we're supposed to cool down at the weekend. We've already exceeded our normal number of days over 90F this summer and we have all of July and August to go yet!! We were at the lake at 8am this morning and it was already 78F and humid, currently 94F so I'm going to stay indoors and play too!! Have fun at your desk and have a wonderful time at the fireworks later too.

ReplyDeleteSandee, that is a birdcage that I bought in Las Vegas last year. It has hooks on it and I have some charms that I got doing swaps last year hanging on it. Next week I will show a picture of it. I just had to have and after I got home I was sorry that I had not gotten 2 of them.
