Hello, it is Wednesday and time for another "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday", Julia Dunnit is the lady that started it all. It is addictive and fun. You get to go around the world and check out the desk of a lot of wonderful artist and crafters. So get that cup of coffee and take a seat. Head on over to The Stamping Ground and check it out. You will be glad that you did. Today I have a couple of new products. You know how I love to get a bargain.
First up is my brand new big shot. Isn't it pretty. Yes I have a Cuttlebug, but it was so awkward using the Sizzix dies and the Tim Holtz dies on it. I love the long platform on the Big Shot. I got it for $59.99. 40% off is a good way to go.
Some new papers from Hobby Lobby, the 12x12 pad I just got tonight after work. The small pad I have had for a very long time and only used a few of the sheets to make cards. Well, my cousin is having her 65th birthday in a little over a week and she is having a birthday celebration next weekend. So I have decided to make her a mini album and I will be taking lots of photos to put in it. I can't wait to see out it turns out. I will be using envelopes 5.75 x 8.75 as my base.
Now, a little show of the toilet paper roll mini that was in the process on my desk last week.
This is what it looked like last week.
I like how it turned out, I just need to make 3 more tags for it and decorate a couple of the plainer pages. Well, that is my desk for this week and now I am off to see what is going on elsewhere.
Just a reminder that I have blog candy if you are interested. And I would love it if you joined in the fun. Have a great Wednesday.

ohooo lovely!!! I've got loads of loo rolls ready to do this months and months ago, yours is even better than the one I saw in the magazine, but because of our bad start to the year, I never got round to it, but will book mark your page, to make myself do it!!! Sea horse??? oh yes, the card, it is lovely, was thinking of doing a doodle on the same lines. Something a bit punky. It's lovely and sunny here!! I'm off out any second, trying to whiz round as many as I can, have a great week. HaPPY SunnY WOYWw!!

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Charlene, it is hard to believe that beautiful album is from tp. You are amazing. I like the ribbon too. It adds a nice touch. Well your cousin is going to be one lucky girl because based on your amazing past projects, she will be receiving an amazing album. Once again you are motivating me to break out and make a few mini albums. I haven't in ages but really love making them.
ReplyDeleteCome play on my desk when you are free!
Belinda (82 right behind you on the list!)

popping in from woyww. Cute mini. Looks fun
ReplyDeleteHello! My first WOYWW today, and since I'm in at 128 (bit late, I know), I thought I'd visit all the 8s first of all and then see how much further I get! I've made it through the ones ending in 8, so now it's all the 80s! I'm in love with my BigShot. I'm quite a newbie to crafting, so didn't have any cutting machines before, but I'm sure you'll LOVE using it!

Love the mini book! You'll love the Big Shot...it will cut anything!! Trish #55
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous Mini... so cute.. I love my big shot... Had it for years and it keeps going.. Have fun.. Hugs May x x x#11
ReplyDeleteI like how it turned out too, wonderful papers you chose. I have a big shot too, and it replaced my broken cuttlebug, which i miss, but you're right about the user friendliness for the big dies.
ReplyDeleteI love your new papers, they're so elegant. I bet you use them loads for all different sorts of projects!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ #28 xx
Congrats on your purchase of the big shot, you won't be disappointed, I also have a CB. The loo rolls mini turned out awesome, love the papers.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Elaine #10
Great purchase and wonderful papers, they´ll look awesome in the mini, when you get that done, I´m sure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your BS - I still love my CB even though I now bought a GC and a Vagabond. It's so light and dinky compared to the others.
ReplyDeleteGreat toilet roll holder book - thanks for sharing.
Hugs, Beet xx 8
Drat, lost my first comment! Love the tp project and your bargains are amazing. Doing a trip to the US in September and have already quietly planned to perhaps bring a suitcase full home - even if I buy an extra one and pay for excess baggage :)
ReplyDeleteI love my CB, but wonder if I could fit a Big Shot somewhere in OH's study - grins! Might be thinking seriously about that one!
Belated Happy WOYWW, Di xx #13
I just got a big shot too...last week! I've only bought one die for it so far, and wasn't impressed, but I think it's the die, not the machine I'm having problems with. Love your mini album!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by this week!!
