I am going to keep this short. It is Wednesday and time for another WOYWW at the Stamping Ground. Julia, our hostess is fabulous and you really should stop by and pay her a visit. It is a time for us to get a glimpse at other creative desk around the world and back again. So come on and take a little trip with me. This week I am working on some projects that I can sale at a craft show in November. I did not realize that it was going to be held for 2 days. But, it is. I don't know if I will have enough for both days, we shall see. I finished to mini albums over the weekend and prepped some card bases to make sets of note cards. Now I am stamping and embossing the sentiments that will go on the card bases. My desk is not really tidy, but I need to finish this post so that I can get back to work.
If you look really close, you will see my WOYWW badge in the background.

On the top of the tray in the right corner is 2 matchbook envelopes that I am almost finsihed with. I just have to do a little decoratting. there next to the heat gun is a packet of really large tags that I will be using on a project for the scrapbook group. can't wait to get to work on them. As you can see I have lots of sentiment stamps out and ready to get to work. My smash book there under the plastic contatiner waiting to get some new pages done.
Well that is it for me tonight, now it is time to get out and do a little snooping on some of the other blogs. So, stopy on by and join us I would love to see what you are working on.

ReplyDeleteHi Joynana! I am so happy for you! How exciting that you get to sell your art at not one but a two-day craft fair. By the second day you will be an old pro. I have never done a craft fair but want to once I get going. So I will love to hear more about it when you come home.

It's always tricky trying to work out how much stuff to make for the fairs and what to make as well. I try to have a broad range of items but can never predict what exactly is going to sell well. One time, every single pegbag I had sold out in 30 minutes!! Good luck with yours :D
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ #73 xxxx
Lots of fun, creative different projects going on in your corner of the world. I can't imagine getting stuff together for a craft fair-there are just so many variable! And you never know what will be the hot item.
ReplyDeleteOoh I love your shiny silver heat gun!! I wish mine looked that cool. Mine is about 20 years old though. I guess I should use it more often to wear it out so I can get a new cute one like yours!!

Hi Joynana,
ReplyDeleteI love your name! It just makes me smile every time I see it. How did it come about?
Your desk looks nice and neat. I'm selling at a craft fair in November too. As long as I don't stress about it I'll be o.k. What will you be selling and how do you price things? That has always puzzled me.
Thanks for visiting me -- I'm soooo late in getting around this week.
Hugs,
Kay
