Where did the time go? It is almost Wednesday already, and I have not accomplished hardly any of the things that I set out to do since last week. Still trying to get some things put together for the craft show in November. I have been working on some sets of note cards. I chose these and some individual birthday and other assortment of cards to sale. One reason was these are things that are good salers for me anyway. And I was told to always stay with what you know. I don't worry about not selling them, because even if I don't. I have my regular Seasonal orders to fill and they won't go to waste. Why am I telling you all of this, because it is time again for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, and our hostess is Julia over at the Stamping Ground. So go on over and check it out. It is a time for snooping and visiting blogs around the world. You get a chance to see what other artist and crafters are doing. But, beware it is very addictive and once you join in, you will want to be there every week. So here is what I have been doing. Over the weekend I made a few changes to my craft room. Still a few more to go...
I needed a little more storage close to the desk, and underneath are some of my tools waiting to be used. On my desk, you can see a card that I am making for my daughter to give to a friend. And there are a stack of note cards waiting to be bagged up for sale. And there between the paper cutter and the cards are lots of stamped and embossed sentiments waiting to be added to another stack of cards. So much to to and so little time. My friend tells me that I can do this. Right now, I am just not as sure has she is. She is one of my best customers, she uses and buys a lot of my note cards and she also gives them as gifts.
Some cards are finished and there is a stack of paper that has been cut and ready to add to the card base.
Here are some of the finish products.

I hear you about storage. I am constantly thinking (ok..stressing) about how to better store my stuff. I always feel like it could be a lot better but then that cuts into craft time which is not acceptable. I am loving all the tools you got stashed under your desk.
ReplyDeleteYou inspire me each week with your crafts and once again I am happy to visit your desk. I love your note cards. They are so pretty with ribbon and the wrapping are the final touch.
I will keep you in my prayers but let me tell you the people must be blind if they don't buy all of your art.
Thanks for visiting me and have a blessed week.
