Well, it is not quite Wednesday yet, but I want to get this ready as early as possible. It is almost time for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, with the fab Julia Dunnit our wonderful hostess. If you still don't know what I am talking about it is time to sit down at your computers and take a trip around the world to see what others in your field are working on. Me, I have been scrapbooking since the weekend. I am so far behind that it is not even funny. I went to Las Vegas in August 2011 and I have still not finished with my photos from there and the Grand Canyon. But, I am getting closer. I finished about 9 pages since Saturday. They are mostly 2 page spreads. I at least feel like I accomplished something.
My desk is a mess at the moment but in the background you can see some stickpins that I recently made. Well, that is it for me. Stop on by the Stamping Ground and check it out. I will tell you that it is addictive and so much fun.
These are some of the photos from our shopping expedition at the huge outlet mall in Vegas. The shoe store we were in was just amazing. But, so was every other store that we entered. And the prices were really good. So much shopping and so little time. I just need to do the journally on these 2 and it will be pretty much done.
It sure looks great Joynana, and I´m pretty in love with these stickpins, you have back there, they looks gorgeous too.

ReplyDeleteGreat LO's, I love Vegas. Went once and found a shopping mall (great) but never found it since. Can you give me a clue so as next time I can visit please.
I do love the image of the red headed girl on the first LO - she stands out and is so perfect for the nature of the page. Love the shoes on the second one too - at first I thought they were someone's legs. Need new specs I guess.

ReplyDeletewow, 9 pages since Saturday! That's progress! sometimes takes me 2 days to do a 2-page spread, but then I am a newbie to scrapping ;-)
ReplyDeleteNext time we make it to Vegas a friend told me there's a great stamp/craft shop there, so will have to track that down - as well as the shoe shops loL!!

ReplyDeleteThe reason I never scrap is because I'd never keep up and I take far too many photos too, so 2010 is not bad! The pages look super and I too have purple suede shoes, way to go!

ReplyDeleteLots of fun things to do in Vegas besides gambling and shopping is one of them. I went to several pawn shops cause a friend told me she had gotten some good buys there and was surprized at what people sell to get more money to gamble! Love the purple background! ReplyDeleteJoyce, you really are busy - at least you try to finish what you started...some of mine are hidden in my plastic bins in the scrap room...hahaha...I love Vegas...never thought to do a page...will have to do some from the photos we took when we went a few years back. We took plenty. TFS!

And I thought I was behind on my scrapping as I am still in September last year! Great spread, love the purple, then going by your blog (and mine) you love purple too. So where do you put the journaling then? I tend to leave it till last too and write round the photos (which I really must do on my last LOs). As for my garden photos different seasons int he same month, you should see it today with the wind and rain lashing down! Hope you had a Happy WOYWW BJ#42 and thanks for visiting me.
