Where did the time go? The week has just speeded by and I don't believe I have done half the things that I had planned to do this week. And here it is time for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday and I don't have anything finished to show you. Things are just not moving has fast as I would like. First, I am still working on the Vegas scrapbook, Another page almost finished, just have to add some more journalling. But, there are still photos from 4 more days in the desert. The grand canyon and the valley of fire. Two awesome sites with lots of photos. But, this is one that is ready.
The Paris hotel ( I would love to go to Paris one day) and the Planet Hollywood hotel. I can't find the photo of the Venice Hotel, they actually have a gondola.

Painting some boxes (one a 4x4 box that I plan to use for a calendar) and a Balsa box that I am going to give in a RAK. and that container in from of the 2 bottles of paint which I am going to make into a pin cushion. I have covered it with 2 coats of gesso and hot glued some glass rocks in the bottom to keep it steady. I hope to finish off at least 2 of these this coming weekend. I still have a lot of work to do on the calendar. I don't like the way that paint covered it is streaky on the outside and needs another coat of paint. Well, that is it for me right now and it you want to know why I am showing you whats on my desk, go on over to the Stamping Ground and ask the wonderful Julia. She is the lady who started the worlds largest blog hop.
Well, I am off to visit some creative blogs. Hope you will join us.

It sure looks facinating with all these projects going on here. Your LO looks awesome and I can´t wait to see, what the calendar will be like, when it´s all made too???
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and hopefully much better weather than here, as we´re in the middle of another snowstorm here again now SIGH. I just really HATE snow and cold LOL.
My comments keep disappearing when I type them up. Before I have chance to post. Love your busy desk, my oh my how busy are you!
ReplyDeleteWe stayed at The Wynne the last time we went to Vegas, fascinating how the bath water changed when it hit the base of the bath.
Love the Paris, could not believe the first time I went how that was not the real sky.
Enjoy your book and reliving Vegas.
Hugs, Neet xx 2

ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW and have a great week Heather#133
Your desk looks a lot like mine usually does. Right now it is blissfully clean, but I don't seem to be able to keep it that way...and frankly, I guess I don't need/want to! Charlotte WOYWW #148
ReplyDeleteHi Joyanna ! Wow you are juggling lots of projects this week ! Love the layout ! On the steaky paint thing - I went to a class on paints & they suggested dabbing the paint on with a sponge or babywipe if the streaky look won't go away - not sure if that helps at all ! Hope you get lots done as you hope to this weekend ! Take care Ali #22
ReplyDeleteCan not wait for the finished projects.
ReplyDeleteHi Joynana,
ReplyDeleteSlowly getting your pages done from your vacation is just fine! I bet you stop and just remember all the sights and sounds from your big adventure. It's been ages since I've been to the Grand Canyon. Living so close I should really do a trip there again.
Thank you for visiting me already. I'm slowly getting around to visiting this week.
Happy WOYWW
