Ok, it is time for another WWOYW "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday". It is when we all get together over at the Stamping Ground with Julia Dunnit and visit lots of fabulous desk around the world. we get to see what other crafty people are doing and creating. First, let me say that I am sorry that I did not get around to all of the desk that I wanted to and that I plan to do better this week. Last week was really busy and the weekend even more so. On my desk this week are some photos that I have been printing out using PICASA by Google. It is a fabulous photo collage program that is free. If you are into project life you can make your photos 3x4 or any other size that you need. But, I love the collages. I am still learning the program. But, I was able to print out some of my photos from the weekend. The great thing is that I did not have to spend any money.
These photos were taken on Saturday at the American Indian Festival over in the next town. It has this fabulous Indian Museum and the Mounds is run by the University of Alabama and it has save the Indian History. They have done archeological digs on the Mounds and most of the artifacts in the museum for found right there. I think that it is such a great thing that they have done to keep the history alive.
Well, that is my desk this week. I will be out to visit as many desk as possible this week.

Ooh, that Indian museum sounds so interesting! I did an archaeology degree at university so love anything along those lines. I haven't looked at Picasa that much, must give it a go :-)

How fascinating your Sunday must have been - and the Picasa program looks great - thanks for pointing it out, I shall prolly have to play with that, So often I want to use photos that aren't great, but in a collage they would work....cool.
ReplyDeleteThe American Indian festival sounds very interesting, Joynana, and I love your photo mosaics. I haven't used Picassa much, and I don't print out many photos. I've scanned a lot of old family ones which I am printing out for my mini-album but that's as far as it goes!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
